GreatSaiyaman123 Good song that makes a good use of some heavily overlooked keys.
Fantastische Hure Still haven't seen Se7en, despite it having been on my Netflix watchlist for a long time. I've been spoiled on the ending, though it still seems like a good thriller to check out when I can.
Pocket-Gog~ Dr. Slump accomplished its job well as an entertaining gag manga. However, that's all it really was; an episodic comedy with characters typical of the genre and scenarios that don't end up being as memorable as some of the other works of the genre and lacking major plot continuity until some of the later volumes. It's still far better than most of the works to have copied its style, mainly due to not coming to rely on referential comedy like most of them (eg. Gintama), but still doesn't manage to be much more than a decent time waster. 5/10
Neko Majin was just a gag manga relying on DB to get by, with its cameos making continuity with Dragon Ball very messy. 2/10
Sand Land was far too short to really be worth much as far as plot or characters go. The setting had potential to be an HnK-esque dark action series and the characters held some potential for development, but becoming a 2 chapter series made all that potential go to waste. 2/10
Ginga Patrol Jaco probably had the potential to be Toriyama's best non-DB series with a fairly unique protagonist and a colouful main cast. Much like Neko Majin, however, inserting itself into DB continuity and vice-versa ruined it by opening up so many questions such as why was Tights never mentioned at all in the entirety of DB's run? Why didn't the Galactic Patrol come to Earth when Raditz arrived, or found out about his arrival for that matter? Why is Baby Goku wearing Saiyan armour (which unfortunately forces you to take Minus into account for the answer)? If it had been its own thing, it'd make for a fine, short action-comedy, yet Toriyama's desire to make any new work he produces part of the DB Shared Universe due to seeing the benefits of brand recognition heavily limiting for a story when he'll either have to work within the limits of the series' continuity or retcon whole chunks of it. 4/10
Haven't read any of his other works such as Cowa!, Kajika, etc.
