Yes, it's a Korean horror movie, and I found it a very decent movie. I'd recommend watching the original though (the Korean one), not the remake made in the U.S, which isn't nearly as good as the original.

It's also good because it doesn't have a predictable formula like most horror movies --> house with spirit --> calls an exorcist --> someone is possessed. It's more like a psychological terror, I'd say.

That's the case for most Korean, or Asian, movies that get a US adaption. For instance, the original Oldboy is an excellent psychological thriller that improves on the Japanese manga it was based on, whilst from what I've heard, the Spike Lee version is shit.

Yeah, indeed. I have also heard that many plots from Asian movies (mainly Korean ones if I recall) get copied and adptated into hollywood movies, hence why I am interested in watching some Korean/Japan and other Asian movies if I get the chance. I recently watched one called "The Silenced" that it's available on Netflix, but besides some cool scenes and teachings, I didn't find it too triggering... I have really enjoyed the aforementioned movie though, and am planning on watching another Korean movie to which my cousin said was one of the best one he has ever watched, although I'll have to get the movie's name again with him.

What do you think of writer's (or anyone who is part of creating a series) blog? Have you read any? I find them really interesting, especially when you get behind the scenes information.

Depends on how interesting the writer is, or the quality of his work, really. For instance, Pablo Hidalgo's posts regarding explaining certain aspects of Star Wars is interesting as it explains things that would be plot holes on first glance, or GRRM's blogs and tweets often providing hype for his upcoming A Song of Ice and Fire books. Of course, it all depends on the author in question, since I doubt I could find anything worthwhile beyond Yoshit tier comedy in blogs by SJW writers. :alex2

Worse. The only decent arc imo was the Saiyan arc, which still had more notable flaws than the Hunt for the Dragon Balls Arc of Part 1 did, so it avoids being the best arc of the series. Freeza Arc had good concepts but poor execution through very cheap plot devices and pointless padding from the Ginyus' arrival and onwards, so I can't rate it any higher than average at best or maybe slightly below average. Cell and Boo Arcs were the worst arcs of the original manga, both featuring several retcons in their own arcs, even more contrivances and asspulls than the Freeza Arc and some pretty bad turns in characterisation for many returning and new characters. You can see the Dragon Ball Arc Rating thread for more detail.

Saiyan Arc - 6/10
Freeza Arc - 4/10
Cell Arc - 2.5/10
Boo Arc - 2/10

About a 4/10 for Z as a whole. I can at least praise it for not dropping in quality to quite the extent as most other 2nd parts of Shonen such as Naruto or Hokuto no Ken.

Did you read Takeshi Shudō's blogs on PokéMon and his original plans for the series and the movies?

I haven't read any of them personally, though I'm aware of his plans that got left on the cutting room floor such as revealing Ash's father or the possibility of Ash x Misty being official in the first movie had it been the finale of the anime.

Have you ever played South Park: Stick Of Truth or South Park: The Fractured But Whole? If not would you consider playing them?

Quite good. As far as German anime openings go though, I don't think it can hold a candle to the first Digimon opening or both DBZ openings.

My cousin has both games and has let me borrow the first one. I like the style of both games, though I've been procrastinating on the Stick of Truth for a long time now due to how if you're going after the collectables for either achievement hunting or bragging rights, playing without a guide constantly open is near enough impossible.

I like her initial design in terms of both looks and originality. The scientist look stands out pretty well compared to other villains and her general appearance with the pale skin and striking eyes make it obvious why Kuririn now has a low-key Artificial Human fetish. Her true form or whatever her Majin-esque self is supposed to be is completely unoriginal however and just a bastardisation of what was originally a unique design.

Coincidentally, I've had a cold/flu (supposedly a strain of some new virus originating from Australia) since a few days before Zeta went on the fritz, so pretty much the worst time for Zeta to go down. At a time when my choices to stave off boredom becoming limited and I have a major reason to frequent the forum, it goes fucking down. :alex2

Still afflicted by the flu and it's progressed to the stage where I'm coughing up phlegm, though that has the silver lining of showing it's in it's final stages before it subsides after another week or so based on prior experience.

Just before (I think) DBZeta went out, I found-out that this video works for me again (before that some bull-shit made it not possible for me to get back to the vid. for whatever reason). This actually happened with several songs, but that's not the point. :shc :shc :shc

What do you think of this beautiful music? I first heard this a few years ago (like 2015 I think) in a fan-made trailer for Boyz 'N' the Hood and I just had to find-out what this music was. That real beautiful summer feeling. Nostalgic atmosphere and all that. I even kind-of made a thread because of that on DBZF, l0l and the Summer feeling I got in that particular time, since the thread was made in the Summer. That music really amplified that feeling. Maybe you need to listen to that on those Summer Evenings I talk about in that thread to really get the feeling that I got listening to this.

Do you like this? I don't think anyone can not, not like this.
