Top 5 best DB video game opening songs?
#1 - Ore wa Tokoton Tomaranai (Budokai 3 OP)
#2 - Kusuburu Heart Ni Hi wo Tsukero! (Budokai 2 OP)
#3 - The Biggest Fight (Final Bout OP)
#4 - Kiseki no Hono yo Moeagare (Burst Limit OP)
#5 - Super Survivor (Sparking Meteor/Budokai Tenkaichi 3 OP)

Could've included the times Cha-La-Head-Cha-La and We Gotta Power were used as OPs, but I didn't think that would be fair.

Which voice actor for Gohan do you prefer, Colleen Clinkenbeard for the Kai dub or Stephanie Nadolny in the Z dub?

Clickenbeard by far since she actually sounds like a child most of the time and not a chain-smoking adult woman. I do prefer Nadoly's voice for Kid Galu though.

I prefer Colleen's portrayal for Gohan during the Saiyan-Freeza arcs but I'd give it to Nadoly for the Cell arc (That is if we set aside the bad script changes). I think her performance when Gohan turns SSJ2 was far better where his rage towards Cell felt more real and natural. And not sure if you're aware, but she appears to have dropped the gravelly voice in Raging Blast 1.

I'll probably take your word on that, since I didn't see much of Clickenbeard's Cell Arc performance beyond the dialogue in Raging Blast 2 and it's been years since I viewed the dub of RB1 other than a few cutscenes for the Saiyan Arc. I will still say that Colleen's superior performance for the Saiyan/Freeza Arcs (particularly for Piccolo's death which always came off as cringey from Nadoly even by the time of RB1) is enough to give her a solid edge when looking at things as a whole.

What are your thoughts on Hayden Christensen as Anakin? Who you would've liked to see as Anakin?

Whilst I agree with most of the criticism about his performance tending to be either lifeless or hyperbolic with the dialogue, I believe he did an excellent job when the scene required him to rely purely on his facial expressions without any lines. As far as alternative actors go, I can't really think of anyone else that could've done much better with the poor script provided.

I agree. By RotS he's doing a much better job as Anakin, even though Lucas's script holds him back. It's like Harrison Ford said when he read the script "You can type this shit Lucas, but you can't say it".

Do you think Christian Bale could've been a good Anakin? This is, with a script portraying an older and more mature Anakin, given how Bale is closer to Ewan McGregor's age than Hayden's.

I imagine so if major overhauls were made to the story (ie. The BI method). Hayden was a better choice in terms of character age, but Bale tends to have a better job with dual-natured or psychotic characters to the point he could probably make the "not just the men" scene more than just hilarity when considering his role in American Psycho and his good job at showing the differences between Bruce Wayne and Batman.

Yeah Bale would've been perfect for a colder, Vader-like Anakin. Just imagine scenes like the "Not just the man" with him. A trilogy where Anakin was a more mature man that went to the Dark Side because he was selfishly interested in absolute power, like BI Anakin. Hayden was only better for the tragic story about the good guy turning evil we had.

Bale as Anakin would've also fit the appearences, given how he looks more like Sebastian Shaw than Hayden does, and Sebastian Shaw playing Anakin heavily implies Anakin wasn't much younger than Obi.

Damn, i really want to see a prequel trilogy with BI's script and Chris Bale as Anakin now.

What do you think of M8 Broly's Galaxy destruction feat? Do you think it implies Broly can potentially solo Z?

Definitely, so long as you can remember most of the key events and characters. You may want to take notes if you find yourself forgetting a few key details.

Considering we're not given a solid time frame for it, I tend to treat it as an outlier when comparing it to canon, unless we're to go with Koyama's logic. :troll

Taking notes is a solid idea. I plan to wait til my memory is a bit more stable, but that is coming along. What genre was LoGH again?

Space Opera/Sci-Fi with military, political and philosophical themes.

Also, just make sure you view the 80s OVAs and not the new 2018 remake, lol.

Yea don't worry, do not plan to watch the remake lol. I remember I liked the first two episodes, not that I recall the plot very well. Now I know I started it in Japanese, but do you have knowledge on the English version? I am willing to sacrifice a small amount of quality if it helps me remember key events better.

There was an english dub, but they only did a couple of episodes and clips alone are hard to find.
Alternatively, you could read the novels which cover all the events of the anime and provide more detail to world building (albeit, at the cost of aesthetics due to not having the captivating music or scene direction, obviously), though you'd need to spend some cash for them unless you have Kindle.
