Eh, I don't think this was the worst thing 's said in an interview (at least better than anything from his post-BoG interviews), since it at least attempted to explain a pretty abundant asspull through some scientific means, though it doesn't really help when not only is it cheapened down to the DB version of "Midichlorians", but the explanation to excuse things like SSJ Goten or SSG being achieved through holding hands only exist as a means to excuse bad writing.
