SSJ2 Vegeta (Pre-Majin) vs SPC

Goku believed that he and Vegeta can beat Dabura if they want too, but Goku was thinking SSJ here not SS2.

Gohan was less than half before he fired the Kamehameha. After he fired the Kamehameha at Cell, I believe he regained a lot of his power, but still not all of it.

Really? If Goku knew Vegeta had SS2 all along then, he should be able to calculate Vegeta's power as SS2 since he already sensed him.

They can't calculate ki like that, especially since Goku probably never knew what Vegeta's full power as a SSJ was.

I don't see why Goku would assume his SSJ2 would allow him to end the fight quickly if he were equal to Vegeta in SSJ1. And how does Goku not know Vegeta's SSJ1 power? Babidi literally awakened his dormant power. It doesn't make sense for Vegeta to be suppressed in SSJ1.

Cell said he was done playing around.

Goku would have to make a lot of assumptions about Vegeta's power as a Majin in order to guess his SSJ2 power accurately and in that kind of stressful situation, I don't think he could focus on accurately sensing his power.
Goku didn't know what Babidi did him.

Powered up like Gohan would mean he gained about as much power as Gohan, which would make him far stronger than Gohan.
No, done playing around as in no holding back.

So how strong Vegeta's SS2 form according to Goku? Especially Goku said he'll finish the fight quickly which sounds like Vegeta is too easy for him.

So you're saying that Goku knew Vegeta's power pre Majin but doesn't know post Majin? That's dumb, especially Vegeta pre Majin never show his power yet but Post Majin did show his power right infront of Goku's eyes.
