I'm not in the business of measuring physical strength. I measure ki power. The ability to deliver force.

So that's why for me Mike Tyson is at a really high power level, even though he's nowhere close to being the World's Strongest Man, like an Eddie Hall or whatever.

Tyson's ki reading should be much higher than Eddie's. Having superior physical strength is a good thing to have in a fight, but often times it doesn't necessarily determine it. Especially in the striking world, the Z universe has pretty much zero grappling in it. It's a striker's world.

That's a general statement though. Gohan isn't going to be with Goku forever and needs to make sure Goku won't recklessly transform. And Gohan obviously survived Oozaru Goku in the past if he knew Goku couldn't look at the moon. Why would he survive then but not now?

Why survive Oozaru Goku when he can just neck chop KO him?

I'm not sure what you're getting at. I'm asking how or why Gohan was able to survive Oozaru in the past but not this time? Obviously if he knew how badly outclassed he was he would have fled the scene. Why did he survive before?

Well one of the main problems with that is that Mr. Satan's power level of some variation of 666 seems to be canonized as far as I'm concerned.

Now you can opt for Mr. Satan at say .666 or something like that if you want to make the early levels smaller, but yea Farmer at 5 or variation of 5 and Mr. Satan at 666 should be a part of every list.

I'm pulling an uno reverse on you. If Gohan easily can neck chop Oozaru Goku, why is he so worried about him transforming?

He's worried because it's a massive problem. Gohan isn't going to be with Goku physically at all times. Imagine if Goku goes out into the woods to hunt for something and transforms into an Oozaru. Walks into a town and kills everyone.

Does 25th TB Videl really scale to Mr. Satan though? Even before she knew about ki she was stronger than Satan. Being capable of utilizing ki likely helped her considerably in making gains. I mean she broke the neck of a Majin powered Spopovich, Satan couldn't even severely injure a skinny gunman.

Yeah, she's significantly stronger than her Dad now. He is only like around 80% of her power at the World Tournament.

Very true and a very good reason to tell Goku not to go outside during a full moon. I just think the narrative you paint with your take is very jarring.

I can't imagine a Great Ape Goku absolutely raging out, the whole town is out and pissing themselves and he's about to destroy a village and Grandpa Gohan of all people puts down the mighty Oozaru with a hand chop.

Goku was already a formidable fighter. Being a tremendously strong superhuman fighter getting a monstrous 10x boost on top of his power should probably make him the strongest on the planet.

Yeah, I am. A 3x boost from Roshi's training doesn't feel anywhere near enough.

This is probably one of the most incredible one shots in the entire manga. That little engagement was enough for Goku to tell Krillin not to use anywhere near his full strength. As if tapping that massive fighter was anywhere near his full strength...

It's crazy to only see a 3x gap here.
