Dawg, it's the original lazy form. It literally either gets skipped or drawn as SSJ if it's lucky. Even Toriyama literally forgot about it... One arc after he had created it

This. Though I think SSJ4 comes next. It's definitely the most unique looking Super Saiyan form there is and I especially liked it because it turned Goku into an adult again. It's exponentially better than any of the forms created in the past decade.

Just looking at the scene Goku turned into a ssj4 already makes me nostalgic... it's a very well done and touching scene, specially Goku's dialog with Pan. It blows away every shocking scene Super came up with to me.
