It's only maybe 2-3 years from the End of Z now in the series yet despite Bulma complaining about getting old and looking it too at that point, her Super self looks like she's still in her prime.

It didn't seem to bother him, but since he was already winning with the rage boost until the last second I doubt he'd have seen the need to risk further damaging his body with the Kaioken. Also, during the second encounter they had 3 men whereas during the first encounter Black put Vegeta out of commission before the other two could even fight, so it makes some sense that Goku saw no need to turn Kaioken.

That thread is only relevant to anime, though. And even in the movie, she doesn't look that old.

Still, the fact that she wants to wish to be 5 younger pretty much implies that she's old whatever the art/animation says. The movie and the are pretty much the same except some changes but I doubt that Bulma wishing to be younger won't be included.

Bulma is close to her early 50's. Of course she's old. The art/animation is precisely what we're calling out, especially when compared to EoZ, which takes place merely 2-3 years later.

Art has been inconconsistent throughout the series though. Like Goku being a 15 years old and yet still a lot shorter than a 16 years old Bulma. But still I get your point though.

Galu at least has an in-universe excuse of Saiyans going through a huge growth spurt from childhood to adulthood as mentioned in the Jaco manga. Bulma doesn't have any excuse from going from Milf to old bag in give or take three years.
