Super Saiyan 3 Boost

What are you guys' opinions on the x4 boost? I know x2 for SSJ2 is too small, but is x4 for SSJ3 just as bad?

It's only small if you're trying to have it run parallel with Gotenks' Fusion Dance SSJ boost and trying not to godnerf the latter. 4x is plenty enough for the feats SSJ3 has

But SSJ3 is most likely the greater boost of the two when you consider that Gotenks does not even consider SSJ2 to be worth using before jumping to 3. However that could just be Toriyama hurrying it up and getting Gotenks into his final form by skipping the middle one similar to Gogeta not bothering with 2/3 or God before going to Blue in the Broly movie.

Super Saiyan 3 Goku should be rivaling Super Saiyan Gotenks. Since we know Base Gotenks > Super Saiyan 2 Goku, we know Super Saiyan 3 is around a 50x boost.

The SSJ multipliers are limited for the fusions. No way did Gotenks get over 50 times stronger spending in an hour in the ROSAT.

I think it should at least be a higher boost than Super Saiyan 2 based on the way Whis reacts to it in Battle of Gods and how the Zenos/Toppo reacts to the form in the ToP Exhibition match in the manga.

4x seems plenty.

I tried making a list with SSj being 4x base basing it off the reading on the kiri meter and even then having base > Piccolo is pretty hard considering Piccolo's standing in the CGs. I'd have to bloat CGs Gohan's gap over Goku and give Gohan like an extra 1.5x boost for his enraged mode. And even still, it wouldn't be much satisfactory if trying to fit in base Saiyans >> Kaioshin >> Piccolo.

If you wanted the ToP quotes, here's the scene I'm referring to.

Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 2 and Zeno claims he doesn't "feel" anything different. Toppo remains completely calm.

I think that could be infer that Super Saiyan 2 -> 3 is way more impressive than Super Saiyan 1 -> 2.

I took it to just be Toyotaro/AT poking fun at SSJ2 being the least distinct of the forms visually. They did a similar thing by poking fun at SSJB having a shitty original name and also called SSJG "SSJ Red"

Didn't he treat all the forms prior to God like trash though? He was taunting Goku to get serious and transform when he was struggling as a SSJ3.

Yes, but his reaction to SSJ3 is telling. He doesn't react at all to Super Saiyan 2 but is actually startled by Super Saiyan 3.

4x is good but still.. Fatso survived suicide attack which are super amplified.. More so than FF. And ssj3 goku is above even that
