Super Saiyan God SS

So can anyone fill me in here? Is SSGSS meant to be more powerful than its predecessor? I don't see any indication to show that it is more powerful than a true Super Saiyan God. That could help to nerf Freeza (albeit, not enough for my liking), but it really doesn't have to be that powerful of a form IMO.

It's pretty much just Mastered Super Saiyan God, or Super Saiyan God without the time limit, right? That's the impression I've been under ever since seeing the movie.

SSGSS Goku and Vegeta can fight Beers evenly, so if they're weaker than 6, and Beers is a 10, I don't see that working out personally.

Perhaps Whis was referring to the real SSG form though when making that statement.

Using the idea that SSJGSSJ is in fact literally Goku stabilizing SSJG with SSJ, doesn't that mean that he also can effectively go SSJGSSJ 2 and 3? Gotta stack those stacks, man.

It's a badly explained form because it doesn't add up with Toriyama's given numbers and the Super Saiyan multipliers.

What Pyrus said. I used to think it was ssj being fueled by ssjg but I guess it's not. Goku said the form "ssjg with the power of ssj". Doesn't make sense. Ssjg x ssj should beat beerus but he's still weaker according to whis. I have two explanations

1. Toriyama kept beerus stronger out of respect for his character
2. Ssj multiplier is really low now since they don't much potential to draw from anymore

A 50x boost can still work. Golden Freeza when exhausted couldn't even scrape SSGSS Goku, but laughed off the idea of Base Vegeta doing anything to him.

I remember Koshka stating that Base Goku (Saiyan Beyond God) could actually be a hypothetical "pre-failure ritual SSj God Goku."

Remember when Goku and the others failed the first time because they didn't have enough Saiyans? Gohan implies that SSj Goku (All Powers Absorbed, a.k.a. failed ritual) "had an enormous Ki," implying that he was above everyone else. And Gohan sensed Enraged SSj2 Vegeta, so SSj Goku (All Powers Absorbed)>>>Enraged SSj2 Vegeta>>>everyone else. Basically, it's a REALLY big increase in power. So, it likely altered how SSj Godku performed against Beerus.

It's possible for the 50x multiplier to work if you assume that Goku's God-enhanced base form is going off of a hypothetical normal power Godku.

Basically, SSj God Goku (Post-failure ritual, a.k.a. the one who fights Beerus)>>>>>Base Goku (Saiyan Beyond God)>>>SSj God Goku (normal power, pre-failure ritual).

He did counter Beerus' last attack in DBS, but considering he was unable to do this as a Post-God SSJ, I chalk that up to being a burst of his latent power or something.

I don't think we saw base goku post god absorption do anything in Super did we? I'm thinking absorbing ssjg took up a lot his potential so him going ssj doesn't make him that much stronger and using ssj with ssjg doesn't make him that much stronger

Is ssj being used to stabilize ssjg? I thought ssjg had a time limit so how is ssjgssj lasting so long in RF?

This form still confuses me. Like can Goku still turn regular Super Saiyan, or will he only be able to use SSJB?
