My opinion:=
GT is Based in how Baby was created by the pure hatred of the Tuffles on the Saiyans - it is awesome too see that Baby is not like those characters seeking revenge in the series - To achieve his means, he do anything that he can, even using the body of a "filthy" saiyan, using mutated Super Saiyan forms. He is not as much as an idiot as every "avenger" - no, he is controlled, cold, and manipulate the "filthy" Saiyans to do whatever he wants. He is awesome, the best villain in GT imo.
Super Android 17 is basically the recycled villain. Dr. Myuu and Dr. Gero working together, to finally create an android that surpass Goku and that would do it. But his final moments, when he is defeated because he simply couldn't destroy his own sister(18) because of his love to her, are awesome. It shows ut that even when he achieved the ultimate level, he couldn't destroy his own sister just to increase his own power, and this is what makes him different to every villain(with the exception of Innocent Buu), even a powerful, arrogant and cold Android knows the meaning of love.
The Shadow Dragons had an awesome concept. It shows that everything has its limits, even the use of the Dragon Balls. And it is my 2nd favorite saga because SSj4 Gogeta appears on it hehehe.
So yes, i really like GT, and it is not because of some fan saying that GT sucks that it'll change. Super Saiyan 4, in my opinion, is the best form - the most creative one by far. There is nothing more badass than red fur, combined with that "i'll torture you, then i'll rape you, then finally i'll kill you" look when Goku used it for the first time!
Now, Super. I don't hate Super. No, not at all. I like Beerus and Whis, and i enjoyed the simple look of SSJG. But compared to DB, Z, GT? Super is a cool series, yes, but still - opinions are opinions.
