GT is based on the anime where Gohan is officially stated in the Battle Collection to be stronger than SSj3, but saying that he is thousands stronger than Goku is flat out wrong with what the anime implies and is baseless assumption. He would be one-shotted by Gotenks Buu with that kind of power.

Goku wanted Gohan to trained and beat Cell and after that Earth is peace so there's no need for him to train. GT on the other hand had Gohan trained post EoZ for what? and why he stopped after Baby's defeat?

After Baby, he could've thought that there would be nothing that they couldn't handle with ease, so he stopped training. What's wrong with that?

He's goal is to destroy Goku. M7 is from Toei and the one who made the GT which you're happy to claim that GT has great storyline.

Gogeta appeared because its the only hope.
Gogeta toyed Omega Shenron because he wanted Omega to release the minus energy and turn it into positive energy is similar why Vegito toyed Boo around so that Boo will absorb him and rescue the boys and Piccolo.

First - In The Buu Arc, Goku was thinking about trying the metamorian fusion inside Gohan-Buu, which means that Vegetto probably wasn't the only hope and that Gogeta, at least on SSj3, could manage something, enough so he wouldnt be hopeless. While Gogeta was really the only hope in GT because Vegetto wasn't a viable fusion in the moment. So first point debunked.
Second - It is not as similar as you think that it is:

It is slightly similar, but even the movies, Z and Db have these slight similarities. For instance, SSj3 Goku uses an attack similar to Kid Goku's Penetrate. Janemba is also a pure-evil being that has a better body compared to his previous form. Fat Buu and Super Buu ripoff? No. It's just slightly similar.

I dont necessarily hate Super, im actually quite enjoying the current arc right now. But GT's concepts and story in my opinion is just superior, especially with SSJ4. The only thing I really disliked about it was the inconsistent power gaps and every arc before baby (But hey, it's the same issue with Super, I mean just look at Piccolo for example XD)
