The manga treats power-levels with respect.

What happened to Kuririm in the manga ToP, from the spoilers I read he gets benched mad quick. Does he do anything cool?

I hope they didn't screw him over worse than the anime.
They did. I think he got eliminated by Frost. :tapion2 :tapion2 :tapion2

I am starting to hate Toyo's writing, not that I was very fond of it to begin with.

At-least he makes Kuririnns standing clear, unlike the Anime which doesn't know what it wants. :galu :galu :galu

True. I hated how Toei made it look like Kuririn was going to be so relevant and then have him be the first one knocked off with only one or two badass moments.

Even the manga made three-eyes seem more relevant than Krillin lol. Although Roshi lasting longer than those two at least confirms it's not really a power thing.

Manga just ruined Trio De Dangers https://twitter.com/Herms98/status/975113998419898371

Nerfing is one thing. But pretty much taking away all the unique powers characters had in the anime and replacing it with nothing just makes characters bland.
That only proves they were bland in the first place and had nothing going for them beyond a gimmick.

Galu going blue Kaioken against a wolf whose brother could barely fight Good Boo was cancer at its finest anyways.

Well you could argue that Goku didn't necessarily need SSBK and did it to honor Zen'o's request for him not to hold back.

Bergamo's beam still struggled with his which just shows more of why Super's just a cashgrab that seeks to excite and never to impress because Toei knows they can get away with it.

Bergamo was kinda sly and cunning in the anime. He seemed to convince the other universes Goku was the villain.

Lavender seemed to be vicious and sadistic.

And Basil was prideful to a fault.

Their fighting styles reflected their characters (Bergamo's ability involves him intentionally letting his enemy attack him to build up energy, Lavenda's poison fists were a cruel and sneaky way of fighting, and Basil's kicking style reflected his arrogance with him keeping his arms crossed due to how confident he was in himself).

You can call them gimmicks, but their abilities made them much more interesting, and their battles were made much more interesing as a result (people loved Basil vs Buu, and Lavenda vs Gohan was interesting for the tactics Gohan had to use to overcome Lavenda's abilities).

The manga is monthly so these are problems you're bound to run into no matter what. Stop nitpicking.

Not only is such an easy task, but Goku's actions actually gave the lesser Universes a fighting chance to survive. If anything, Bergamo's "cunning" just shows how stupid the so-called Gods are.

Unlike any DB Villain I've seen before...

Not only were those battles pretty simplistic and the abilities made them one trick ponies once they were countered, but they weren't treat with much respect as characters at all after the Zen Exhibition match. What could've admittedly been semi-decent side characters were ruined by being automatically portrayed as villainous and unsympathetic during the fights against the U7 team in the ToP. What their characters are at their core is the bland presentation they have in the manga, and better it be over and done with quickly than wasting time showing the abilities of this irrelevant trio.

I can't wait until we get 100 pages for the manga releases. We started with little, then we got double, now let's make it more!

Also, I'd disagree with the manga making the forms look impressive. SSJ Blue looked like a turd until Vegeta used the form against Hit and Toyo actually went all out with the art for once, SSJ God is still treated like SSJ2 2.0 as the secondary form and also looked weak against Beerus due to the rushing and MZ got fucked by base Vegetto. Nerfing Vegetto to being able to last 30 seconds is also just as bad as making MZ equal to him just because he got a mutated arm imo.
Didn't see the edit, but Regular Vegetto was implied to be higher than the highest forms of the fusees at that point. I'm not sure whether he could have defeated Zamasu just in his regular state. Toyotaro skipped Freeza 2.0 so it doesn't really matter since we didn't see the form look like trash or get upstaged by Golden Freeza. And Merged Zamas was owning both Goku and Vegeta by speed blitzing them before with utter ease.
