Agreed. Vegeta had suppressed himself to significantly lower than Cui. However, the manner in which Cui addresses Vegeta on Planet 79 or whatever it's called is telling. Cui has balls to talk to Vegeta like that. Cui is the bully, also Freeza flat out thinks Cui will get the job done and take Vegeta out, while Cui has been just waiting for the day to get the order. Doesn't sound like Vegeta is the alpha here.

Even still, Cui said that they were "supposed to be even" so it's a minuscule difference if it exists. I don't necessarily disagree that he's a cocky cunt.

In my view Saiyan arc Vegeta would lose to Dodoria. But I think Vegeta would be foolish enough to challenge Dodoria if he ever found him out alone. Dodoria is never alone though...both he and Zarbon are constantly by Freeza's side. At the very least if Dodoria ran his mouth and was alone Vegeta would challenge him...maybe not 'seek out' a challenge like on Namek but still he'd fight.

Vegeta is not in the clique because he's a Saiyan and they don't like Saiyans he he probably trusts no one..but Nappa to some degree. Handsome Zarbon would manhandle Earth Vegeta but not Dodoria. Dodoria would eventually win but that's about it.

and Cui is very confident because like Kyo says..he thinks Vegeta had been slacking and had gotten weaker.

He was confident before knowing that.Plus,Zarbon and dodoria are confident that cui can win knowing that vegeta is barely 18k.These guys are as arrogant as fuck so i am sure that with even with less than 1,000 Bp advantage they will feel confident

Dodoria " Pretty arrogant for just a Saiyan aren't you? Now hand over that scouter and get out, I'll let it go this time."

"Finally see what you are up against eh? I may just spare your life."

"Don't waste my time with your lies! And be grateful I haven't killed you where you stand!"

Vegeta taunts Dodoria to come at him and in a rage Dodoria screams I gave you a chance to leave, you blew it!

Vegeta " Look at what happened to your strength, the strength you were so proud of.

Among a small percentage of Saiyans, fighters like Vegeta were being born on Planet Vegeta. Vegeta is not the golden child we thought he was, there were others.


Vegeta talks dismissively to Dodoria when Dodoria asks him if he will allow him to leave if he tells him the secret. Vegeta says he will kill him right now if he doesn't.


The overall tone of Dodoria's manner of speaking to Vegeta is very similar to the tone Vegeta takes with Dodoria once his superiority has been established.

I just don't see any sort of rivaling gap being implied here.

Dodoria could finish Vegeta in one blast, that initial blast he sent Vegeta's way, more or less. The way Vegeta talks about Dodoria and his strength, na I'm not buying it, there's no way Vegeta rivals Dodoria.

That's probably the best we can work with if we use scouter numbers. Alternatively the Daiz numbers work if we go with Dudoria losing youki and Zarbon being that slow because he couldn't sense ki. I think I'm going with that
