What level of power would it take to beat him without using insults?

It's really hard to place him since his powers depends on his toughness so I guess SSjin Vegeta given that they were exchanging blows before Vegeta turned into Blue form and eliminated him.

Yeah Magetta seemed really dependant on two things:

1) his durability

2) heating up the environment for his advantage

The second thing would have never happened if the ring weren't surrounded by a barrier. Without that, he wouldn't have been able to hold off Vegeta for as long, since the thick air was draining his stamina.

SSJ Vegeta/Goku should get the job done.

He could probably beat SSJ Vegeta due to his durability, but in terms of power, Vegeta's probably superior.

Super Saiyan Vegeta > Magetta > Frost.

Think that was mainly due to his durability plus taking him on 2 on 1 with Botamo. During the fight wherein Frost was backing him up, it seemed Vegeta had the advantage as a SSJ and Magetta was just getting by on his durability.
