Why is Tsuru stronger than Tenshinhan (finishing Yamcha)?

Why is Tsuru stronger than Tenshinhan (finishing Yamcha)?
Because I don't see any reason to think Tenshinhan didn't start off at the level he went at against Yamcha. There was no note from anyone (Goku or Kuririn) that Tenshinhan was holding-back, either.ahill1 said:Tenshinhan was the one who noted Mutenroshi is the first to surpass his master, implying Kuririn and Yamcha are still weaker than him, but I don't how it implies the level Tenshinhan used to finish Yamcha was also weaker than Tsuru.
yeahill1 said:Do you mean against Mutenroshi? And was Mutenroshi (vs Tenshinhan) stronger than Tenshinhan (finishing Yamcha)?
What? They probably started-off a-bit even, until they both got serious and then Tenshinhan held a slight advantage.ahill1 said:But Mutenroshi was a bit weaker than Tenshinhan until he got serious, right?
Tenshinhan then also got more serious, yet Master-Roshi was still able to keep up with him.ahill1 said:They both fought pretty evenly at the beginning until Roshi used the Zanzoken and was kicked away by Tenshinhan. After this, Roshi said "looks like I have to get serious..." and took off his shirt. The way I see it:
Roshi (serious) ~ Tenshinhan (vs Roshi) >= Roshi (not so serious).
Papasmurf said:Tenshinhan literally had a technique which cancelled out Kamehamehas, it isn't just because he could use it himself.
He did. I swear he did. I remember it, meng. I do. Please believe me. IIRC, Tenshinhan kept the advantage through-put the fight from then on, still. On-top of that he calls him amazing.ahill1 said:There's no line indicating Tenshinhan got more serious, only that Roshi did.
Probably in between the 2 different powers of Tenshinhan. If not at worst maybe slightly inferior to Tenshinhan (defeating Yamcha).ahill1 said:Yeah, I think Tenshinhan got more serious too, despite it doesn't being stated. Before Roshi got serious he was almost, almost equal to Tenshinhan. If Roshi got serious, that is, increased his powers, I'd say Tenshinhan had to increase his powers too in order to keep up with serious Roshi.
Roshi (more serious) ~ Tenshinhan (more serious) > Tenshinhan (not so serious) = Tenshinhan (finishing Yamcha) >= Roshi (not so serious).
Where would you fit Tsuru on this chain?
ye, so y u go against wot i said in op, l0l???ahill1 said:Yeah, Tenshinhan said Roshi surpassed Tsuru only when he got serious, so Tsuru > Roshi (not so serious) imo. So Tsuru should at least be equal to the power Tenshinhan used to finish off Yamcha considering Tenshinhan started fighting against Roshi with the same power he finished Yamcha, right?
well yeahill1 said:Because now I realised it, lol. So is Tsuru way stronger than Kuririn and Yamcha?
I'm not sure what you mean now. Do you mean what @SIAD was saying, or something-else?ahill1 said:@2kewl4u
Where would you have Goku (little more serious against Kuririn)?
