Was Baby really compared to Vegetto?

Well he said he had the strongest Saiyan power or something like that and Baby is shown to have access to Vegeta's memories.

I'm assuming you mean he doesn't exist because he wasn't shown?

Goku needed Karin to assess his power for him so it's inconclusive as to whether they were including Vegetto's own Ki in that statement, plus it seems evident they aren't including Vegetto's higher forms if so. Why wouldn't they just refer to Vegetto by name? In BoG they outright said fusing wouldn't work, which solidified a BoG Potara Fusion would be ineffective against a highly underestimated Beerus.

They don’t always include themselves in statements. Goku says Janemba is the greatest Ki he ever felt before destroying his ass with SSJ3.
Btw I don’t think Vegetto > SBV… It’s the opposite: I think Vegetto might have been surpassed before SBV.

From what I recall, SSJ3 Goku thought he could find success against Base B. Vegeta, however his gigantic drop in stamina made that confidence vanish. Tailed SSJ3 Goku was the answer to that previous stat disadvantage, however he fought a way stronger Baby. I'm curious what gap is constituted for Tailed SSJ3 Goku in comparison to Base B. Vegeta.

That's fair, but I think Goku saying he's never felt such awesome ki before Baby Vegeta Strongest Form 2 means that before then there was a ki he had felt that was more awesome than initial/SSJ Baby Vegeta but less than SF2.

Just watched this the other day. It’s clearly a Vegetto reference.
There’s Baby Vegeta then he powers up and then Goku fights him.
Goku says it’s been a while since he’s fought someone strong like Baby, which indicates Baby is probably around Buuhan level or so.
Then Baby Vegeta goes beyond that and has the most awesome ki of all time.

This implies the Sigma guys are stronger than Lood? But I recall a guidebook or something saying that they're weaker.
In any case, Rilld is the first person who is said to be stronger than Boo. He probably wasn't talking about Pure Boo, though, or he would have specified the evil Boo. He was most likely referring to Fat Boo, the only living Boo.

Maybe Janemba or Hildegarn if the movies are in GT's continuity, though.
He can't lol. Your own Ki can't be sensed the same way you can sense somebody else's. You can tell how your own Ki feels inside of your own body, but you can't tell how it feels in comparison to another person's. You can only tell how it feels in comparison to yourself in the past.
Gokuu becomes Gogeeta or Vegett when he fuses with Vegeeta. He can tell the resulting fusion is much stronger than himself (as well as Vegeeta because common sense), but he can't tell if he's stronger than his opponent unless he actually fights them.

He knows that Vegett is much stronger than Boohan, seeing as he kicked his ass. And he'd know that Pure Boo isn't so much stronger than Boohan that he'd be able to beat Vegett.
