Was Raditzes power retconned at Saiyans Saga?

All this proves is what I've said many times before; Toriyama cares little for things such as power gap consistency and neither should the fans when battle powers are little more than a plot device.

I'd agree with tiers. I like the somewhat vagueness in them but also having a clear structure to them, that way it's much easier to be on the mark and not be restricted by things like numbers.

I'm fine with people comparing characters with battle powers, just not to the point they become obsessed with pretentious things like gap consistency or gap minimums for something that only existed to either say Character A > Character B or for villains to underestimate the main cast.

Don't forget: 19 should be at least 75% of SSJ Vegeta due to his performance, which was better than Kui and Vegeta on Namek, which was a 25% gap.

Good point. Yet a majority of people think he is 1500 and stronger than generic frieza soldiers.

Yet the Vegeta > Piccolo > 20 > 19 chain places him at best on 60% of Vegeta...

You know, i'm willing to agree with CC here on BP being a bad way of power scaling. Because of both gaps and guidebooks giving wrong interpretations. I mean, i've seen people arguing Tenshinhan forgot how strong Piccolo Sr was...

BP aren't as funny as they used to be IMO.

I'd rather the chains. You can at least give a notion of how big the gaps are with the >=, >> etc. Tiers are too vague, though they're easier to make.

Yeah, I've moved to tiers and chains over battle powers. It's too rugged making battle powers nowadays. That's an archaic practice, one our elders perfected and then destroyed in hopes we would never drudge them up again.

Chains > Tiers > Numbers imo. Battle powers can just be used to prove who's stronger than who, but I don't think the difference between the numbers can be assessed or have an accurate evaluation on ''this person needs to be this much stronger to dominate in a fight''. I feel like battle powers don't work off the same logic as real world numbers do.

Tiers are ok, though they are quite vague and pretty difficult to make.

Chains does the best in both worlds imo. Easy to understand, easy to make.

He hadn't made a tier-list. I was mostly going by his Power-Level lists and his ideas and was inspired by that, since you know he's Kyouks and he knows what he's talking about.
