you know one thing I must say about jjk say what you want about it but it has like 0 fan-service. not even close. this a wholesome anime (as-long as you can ignore the rated-r gore & graphicness). the only thing i remember was a character reading a memo that had a cartoonishly-drawn penis on it & he said “penis” or something

You know in episode 1 in the burger-place 3 characters who haven’t even formally made their debut yet can already be seen, even-though they are all back to the camera.

I learned a new word aonisai. First heard it in DragonBall & then in another series. It’s like Green-Horn or some-thing to some-one young who is inexperienced or doesn’t know as much. The funny thing is ao means blue, but in English it’s green when talking about it. Ha

I wanted to point something out, even-though that was like last year I was reminded of it the other day (another anime-original episode was said to be similar & even I was reminded of it I think anyway but it had been awhile so I might have thought maybe I’m just off about it).
I don’t know if anyone here watched Warship-Island arc in One-Piece. It’s not in the manga, but an anime-original arc. When I watched it again last year summer it reminded me of Studio-Ghibli movies in many ways. I don’t know if I can name all things, but off what I remember.
- child female protagonist? check
- mythical creature she’s friends with (& can communicate with)? Check
- protagonist hides friend from others (adults)? Check
- protagonist tries to protect friend from others/organization? Check
- A lost island? Check
- Enemy is an Organization like real world (not sure how to explain it but think like NASCAR is an enemy obviously not but there are companies like real-world ones)? Check
A bunch of other stuff too I think I can’t remember (maybe something environmental too). I thought that story was a-bit like One-Piece characters in a Studio-Ghibli story lol.
btw on another note does any-one else like One-Piece filler? I don’t know. There are people who like facking DragonBall Z filler of all things like the license episode which was like no good, but I see some hate for One-Piece filler out-side of G8. I way prefer OP filler. More fun & laid back. DragonBall Z filler was just garbage for the most part & was wasting time.

I watched some before that arc because there wasn't a good filler list online at the time. G8 was the only one that fooled me into thinking it wasn't filler until I only had 2 or 3 episodes left.

I see. Well, anyway I think One-Piece filler used to be better than a-lot of other filler from other series. Most likely. I don’t have as much to go-off of but from the series I know.
