What I've realized about Cell from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero

[Cell-Max]

He truly is a complete rectification of the original Cell including the inclusion of Majin Buu's cells and perhaps even those from Beerus and Whis.

The complaints I've read about him being "mindless" and weaker due to the lack of a regeneration ability are moot points when you consider he outright defeated Orange Piccolo and soloed the rest of the Z Fighters apart from Gohan.

I only hope this means Toriyama plans on reviving Cell for the main series as an actual return would be dope.

He already has the Cells of multiple fighters who were god level and were capable of defeating Orange Piccolo. No need for him to have any additions to make that possible.

The first 3 minutes of it are DOPE. It remains to be seen if it doesn't go full blown Terminator Genishit and screw that over a silver platter though. I'm not reading spoilers until I can watch it legally in August.

Saw that opening today and felt the same way. Best part for me was Grade 2 Vegeta.

I swear the Father-Son Kamehameha has been remade into more flashbacks than SSJ Goku on Namek lol

My favorite was them paying homage to the scene of robotic veins coalescing into Gero's arm akin to the scene with Goku's veins solidifying and shooting a blast in Cha-La-Head-Cha-La. Always like me some homages to the GOAT DB opening.

Hedo says he was complete minus his mindlessness at the time of his release. Even if he were released later Cell-Max likely wouldn't have looked like Perfect Cell given that AT didn't like that design and only created it hurriedly because his editor said 2nd form Cell looked retarded.

It's also weird that AT or one of the official material (Full Color Androids/Cell arc comics, iirc) said that Cell's crown shaped head was a Namekian trait, yet this Cell doesn't even have regeneration... Kind of a contrived way to ensure he loses to Gohan without needing to have all of his body blown away in one blast

This Cell was said to be based-on the original one. The bug was already destroyed and I don't believe (I haven't watched though) that the new doctor created a new spy to spy on them.

Kid Boo was mindless as they come and could regenerate fine, plus Cell Max knew how to use Ki and stuff. It's strange that he couldn't reform, but then again the original Cell didn't realize he had that power until Piccolo showed it to him too.
