What's the worst and why? I consider myself to more of a casual anime fan, really having not seen any anime outside of those aired on Toonami or some other TV channel.
For me it'd be Corpse Party: Tortured Souls. It's based off a game of the same title, and the game it effing awesome probably the best Horror RPG I've played, but the anime...... it just took something that told a story (a depressing one yet rather good one) that flushed out all of it's characters and made them extremely likeable and turned it into a 4 episode OVA series that's nothing more than basically 2 hours of torture porn worse than the Saw movies. Hardly any development to the characters, vague explanations on the story, and brutal and disturbing death scenes of characters who survive in the game (for me to call it disturbing is something, I've dissected animals in school and seen surgery on animals up close before)
