Galu just gets dumber and dumber in the manga the more there are relatively peaceful chapters rather than fighting ones, too. Was already showing when Beerus called him a halfwit who's uncharacteristically smart just for throwing someone out of bounds, but the not kissing at 45 thing, not knowing how babies are born, not realizing what was wrong with not even staying with your wife when she's about to deliver......
At this point I'm convinced AT is to blame for Galu's flanderization and Toei just highlights on it more due to the manga being so rushed.
