Yeah, I think SSJ3 Vegeta is the best continuation thing we've seen so far. And his fight was amazing, he looked so cool.

I'm so glad we finally got him.

I think SSJ4 was not necessary here. It should be introduced over time and with some real buildup.

They always had the fusion option and they need to be able to make a story without requiring a new transformation.

Well, the final fight was cool.

I guess Daima does take place in a different continuity from DBS. You could say it's not canon, then.

I see Piccolo was robbed of his only moment to be useful in this show. From forgetting how to speak Namekkian to this, smh. At least there's always the Super Hero film for Piccolo fans to watch, though.

Gokuu had SS4 the whole time? So, all Neba did was help him transform as a kid?

"Ultra Vegeeta 1" I can already see the nerds using this to pretend Vegeeta didn't actually use SS3.

Daima is better than GT and DBS, but it's still trash lol. I enjoyed seeing SS3 Vegeeta, but you don't really miss anything if you just watch the first and last episodes, skipping everything in between. Go ahead and watch episodes 6, 7, 13, 18, and 19, too, if you want, but the rest of the show was a snorefest. Literally only 7 episodes are enjoyable. Overall, the whole show seems very pointless. At the end of the day, all it does is confuse the continuity.

Just finished. It has cool fights and the last several episodes were enjoyable for me to watch for pure hype factor, but that's pretty much it. I definitely wouldn't rewatch the entirely of this ever I think. 90% of this was poor attempt at an adventure story (I don't think the adventure aspect was ever that great in the OG manga either tbh).

The new transformations breaking the continuity doesn't bother me because Toriyama forgets everything he writes the second it releases to the general public, and I treat modern DB like mindless entertainment anyway. Let's just say I'm not gonna be heard calling Kaioshin ''Nahare'' or reference any of this Demon Realm worldbuilding in any other context.

I'm just happy we'll get SSJ3 Vegeta in video games now.

He's already been in Raging Blast 1, Raging Blast 2, and various Dragon Ball Heroes games.

He might appear more often in the future, though (and he'll probably be added to Xenoverse 2 and Sparking Zero). But who knows if the next videogames will cover Daima. SS3 Vegeeta will probably be even less of a priority than Daima's iteration of SS4 Gokuu, which may or may not be be thrown to the wayside in favor of the original SS4.

I'm surprised anyone was surprised Daima was gonna be 20 episodes when to was announced all the way back in 2023 lol

Hell yeah. SSJ3 Vegeta is one of the coolest characters we;ve ever seen. Beast Gohan is a meh

I like how Super Saiyan 4 isn't tied to Golden Oh-zaru in Daima. It never made sense how Golden Oh-zaru gaining control of themselves results in them becoming Super Saiyan 4. It's not like regular Oh-zaru gaining control of themselves results in them turning into a man monkey form.

One theory I've seen is that Super Saiyan 4's colors are an inversion of Golden Oh-zaru's colors (Golden Oh-zaru has yellow fur and red eyes. SS4 has red fur and yellow eyes), but this is cap when Vegeeta has green eyes and Gogeeta has red hair, brown fur, and blue eyes. So, everything about SS4's link to Golden Oh-zaru is random.

Gokuu definitely should have gotten his tail back before becoming SS4 in Daima, though. Having a tail should be a requirement to turning SS4. And they really should have named it something other than "Super Saiyan 4"; it looks nothing like a successor to SS3.
