I like the light yellow hair and golden fur version Scotty posted a few pages back. Since it was a transformation that is a condensed Golden Oozaru I never understood why the hair was a modified version of the base form.

Yeah, it doesn't make sense. I feel like the red and black look good but you are right if you have Golden Oozaru, it should be just like that.

Furthermore I think Golden Oozaru should've been SSJ3 + Oozaru instead of SSJ + Oozaru tbh. Would've given us SSJ3 Vegeta in GT and it makes the name of Super Saiyan 4 make more sense. Plus It's rather lame that the ultimate form (pre-Supa) merely requires you to have a tail while being Super Saiyan, that shit could've been done in the Cell arc if Vegeta just regrew his tail with the DBs lol.

Yeah but SSJ was cheapened so bad by the Cell and especially Boo arcs that it being the primary requirement just feels underwhelming. If some weakling like Future Gohan can accomplish SSJ4 should his tail be intact, it being the ultimate form is kind of lame. That's the one thing I liked about Daima's version, it was an increment to SSJ3 rather than a different branch from regular ol' SSJ1.

It's unclear if this even is Super Saiyan 4 proper. I like to think this is an incarnation of the Golden Oozaru's power akin to Broli's wrathful state given Neva's magic would have just otherwise skipped over that step. GT Super Saiyan 4 turns Goku back into an adult despite Mr. Popo saying that he would need to collect those Dragon Balls to undo the wish. Goku's lack of forearm hair would also indicate an incompleteness. Same goes for the uniform color scheme like the Golden Oozaru has, but of course I'm probably reading too much into it. Who knows what Toriyama was thinking. Ultimately even if not intended, that could ultimately be the in-universe excuse for why there's a notable disparity between Daima SS4 and GT SS4.

Alright, I'm glad we got to see Vegeeta use SS3 as an adult. I'm also glad my prediction that Gokuu would fight Gomah with SS4 as an adult was true. Next episode will be the grand finale, so I'm looking forward to seeing some dope fight scenes.

It seems pretty obvious the new form will be named SSJ4 in the next episode. I may be missing something because I only watched the fight once Vegeta went SSJ3, but why didn't they ask Dende to heal them if they are still damaged?
