Exactly. Goku later shows us that fusion is an option. He wasn't thinking of it at the time.
Super Saiyan Gogeta smashed Super Janemba, who should be a level above Super Buu.
Could be, but I think Gotenks training perhaps only allowed him to realize Super Saiyan 2 and Super Saiyan 3. Not that there is a disparity between his Base/Ssj forms from Goten.
I think Goten’s gains are parallel to Gotenks gains.
Hmm. I want to say I think so.
I want to try this claim out.
Super Saiyan Gokan >> Buutenks
And Gokan Metamoran is just 2 Gokus fusing.
I think that is actually going to work, what do you think?
Exactly. Super Buu is Gotenks equal in the beginning and then Gotenks starts pulling ahead because Super Buu becomes increasingly more frustrated that someone is on par with him.
Super Buu seems to have a major weakness with people being around or above his strength, it breaks him mentality...
Sure, you could argue that. But I think they can be equals, Super Buu's loss of yukki should be what accounted for his one sided beatdown at Gotenks hand. I also think Super Buu is inclined to let Gotenks win and give him reason to want to fight him again so he can absorb him.
What's wrong with the idea that Super Saiyan Gokan (Metamoran) can defeat Buutenks?
What's wrong with the idea that the rivals boost closes the gap between Vegeta and Goku? Like the Majin boost did?
Perhaps Metamoran Gokan = Metamoran Gogeta?
The stronger fighter's extra power not being...
He does answer Buu. Goku later tells us what his answer was and Buu later talks about what Goku's answer was. It just happened off-screen, the manga was focused on Babidi's dialogue during the time Goku gave his answer.
