Goku seemed surprised that Vegeta could keep up with his flight speed. I think it's moreso that flying even faster than the Kintoun would sap a lot of his Ki than that he is actually slower than the cloud. He only had one Senzu left too, which he needed to use to heal at least two of his allies...

Goku easily outjumped Namu without even meaning to, and out-maneuvered him in mid-air as well on top of taking his best attack and taking no lasting damage. He isn't equal to Roshi or Goku. Still stronger than Kuririn, but not Goku level.
