Finished Chapter 0. The scans aren't great and the story can be hard to follow but it's pretty promising so far.

That remains to be seen. His assistants were also working on another manga Duranki in which Miura was pretty hands off and just doing things like storyboards. He's said before that the propose of the manga in part was to prepare his staff to work on Berserk, so maybe they will.

@Southern Gothic I'm not sure if you're still reading Berserk but you should know that sadly the author has passed.

I hear it's much better than One Piece (low bar) so I'm curious as to why I should read it.

I've decided that in my free time I'll dedicate myself to doing this. I'll try to find stuff that seems obscure and read some of it. If I think it's good I'll share it with the community. I encourage others to do the same. If you have any such recommendations feel free to leave them below.

The guy's work was super high quality for years on end. This most recent Fantasia arc looked great. It's sad he won't get to finish it. RIP
