I didn't even read anything in this chapter and just skimmed it, but apparently Toyotaro forgot that PSSJB is a thing and illustrates the aura now? What the fuck lmao, Goku doesn't even have SSJBE so there's no chance of it being confused with Blue Evolved. Why is he forgetting ideas that he himself came up with? So glad I dropped this after Senzu Eating Planet Moro's faggotry :cena

I also don't understand why Galu is even bothering to waste his stamina using God and Blue, when from what I've heard Whis said that he needs to make UI his base form and not a transformation. Why is it Galu always fucks around in lower forms, even when the guy is faster than teleportation and therefore stronger than Blue which isn't that quick?

As I expected Toyotaro didn't even go 5 chapters before he screwed things up lmao.
Ah, the old days when Goku and Vegeta always started out in their strongest Super Saiyan forms as soon as it was clear that the guys they would fight against was a big deal. Even in the original Battle of Gods, Goku wasn't stupid enough to sandbag against Beerus.

Where did those days go?

GT spams base forms (and occasionally SSJ) for half the fight. In Super, the guys always fuck around experimenting with each form, case in point when Galu fought as base/SSJ after seeing SSJ God Vegeta get overwhelmed by Broly :troll :troll

What canon times were these?

Galu is using Ultra Instinct while in God and Blue, every form that Galu uses has ultra instinct in it (I don't know how that works and I'm not going to bother thinking how, its nonsense). But just think on every time Galu fails to dodge a punch, or jobs, or gets his shit pushed in, he's doing it while being in Ultra Instinct.

It was always a Toei thing to have the characters dick around in their base forms for a couple of minutes each, but I don't know why Toyo keeps on doing it. Sometimes I think, judging on how his art looks, that Toyo's a bigger fan of the toei stuff than toriyama stuff.

Galu jobbing to much stronger enemies while in lower forms doesn't particular bother me, given that Jiren managed to outlast MUI Galu in the ToP with his sheer power and will. What does bother me is that Galu is purposefully using regular SSJ and God against someone obviously stronger than Blue

For real, man. Like, why the hell would you use anything less than Blue to fight the strongest fighter in the universe? That's about as retarded as going after Jiren in base form, and he keeps getting away with that bullshit because his opponents always inexplicaly hold back enough to not one-shot him on the spot.

And it's even worse in the anime where Galu whipped out SSJ4 to fight that mole faggot and the electric slime and resorted to Blue against Kuririn of all fucking people :punk :punk

The anime loves going from base to the strongest form without the slightest sense of consistency.

As has already been said, the continuation of Galu being out of character in holding back at the start without any real need to is asinine, as is him getting caught off guard yet again :punk. Granolah doing the same is even worse, with this so-called avenger desiring only to kill the Saiyans just messing about at the start and making this chapter about 80% filler. The way his abilities are treat is also nonsensical with a technique that's apparently faster than instant (this is some YGO Dartz filler "stronger than infinity" bullshit right here) or that Heeter being shocked Granolah was able to make a crater that Piccolo Daimao could easily do :cena. More evidence that power creep has led to any feats in the Super manga after the BoG Arc being underwhelming. Speaking of Granolah, Vegeta's comment on his eyes made me laugh. "A people known for their advanced eyes." Yeah, I've heard of the Kurta Clan, or the Uchiha Clan. These Cerealians and this one dimensional avenger provide so much interest :alex2.

Only slightly okay part of the chapter was some additions to Gas' background that make it apparent the Heeters are the only slightly redeeming element of the arc. Chapter was bad even by Super standards.

Man, how did I not catch that Granolah is an obvious Kurapika and Sasuke rip-off? :alex2

Give it time, Cap. Trust in Toyotaro's ability to fuck this up too in the near future.

Let's not forget he's a Gon ripoff too with his "my hair will grow long and my life will shorten and I'll magically become the strongest being with no training" bullshit :punk

Toyotaro said he was a Kenshin fan but apparently after Watsuki's child porn charges he's broadened his horizon... to Hunter x Hunter, one of the most mainstream shonen manga/anime :troll

I don't know why I'm bothering to search for answers with contradictions here, but I mean, what else are we gonna do here? :king

I rewatched DBS: Broly a couple days ago and it stuck out to me that when the gang realizes that Freeza has the Dragon Balls and they are speculating on what he wants with them, Galu specifically states that he can't wish to be stronger in any significant way because it's beyond Shen-long's power to do such.

So is there gonna be any explanation or backstory on these raisin sized Dragon Balls Granola used? It has been clearly established that the size of the Dragon Balls is linked to their power, as we saw with the progression of Earth's Dragon Balls, on to Namek and then the planetary ones in Super. And there's only two of them? I guess they expect us to take this at face value but damn, does it really contradict itself with this. At least make them big or have there be more than seven. Like, if he needed ten it wouldn't bother me, but fucking TWO? I forgot the Broly movie stated as much, and apparently so did the folks at TOEI.

The Super Dragon Balls are also planet sized.

The ones Granola used are pathetic lol.

Tbf there's wiggle room out of it since Freeza isn't the type to shorten his life to increase his power, and after achieving PSSJB tier through a few months of training and meditating in Hell, he'd be confident in being able to surpass Galu and Vegeta himself. And shortening one's life to gain MAXIMUM GAINZ wasn't technically ever attempted anyway, so Galu wouldn't know of it. What he'd have to go on a baseline is that the limit of what DBs can do to stronger beings is separate Kibitoshin and remove #17 and 18's bombs.

I don't have one, and I don't have access to the movie atm. It's when the group is eating at Capsule Corp after the opening credits.

I just checked, literally said that Shenlong cannot make anyone the strongest in the universe as its beyond his power. This franchise is literally autistic now. :krillin
