Since SS3 Goku only appeared once in the anime with his tail I wonder if this was just an animation oversight or if the design was deliberate. In video games like BT3 SS3 GT Goku’s tail is brown so I’m leaning towards it being an oversight/inconsistency in that one scene

It seemed implied that Gotenks was beat up pretty easily, not that it was a tough fight. I don't think there's a gap for being able to "survive" against an opponent but be beat up that badly and not put up a fight. Boo realistically could have easily killed Gotenks if he wanted but chose not to.

Makes no sense. SS Goten is demonstrably close in power to SS Gohan. No reason the kids and adult would have a different multiplier for Super Saiyan.
