I've done it a couple times, long time ago. I took notes when I'd watch really bad shows because it was fun to talk about with people (mostly GridZero) after.
Wurmple is targeted by Swellow as prey. This Pokémon will try to resist by pointing the spikes on its rear at the attacking predator. It will weaken the foe by leaking poison from the spikes.
I never finished it. From what I saw, it starts better. I don’t really know what else it does better. Doesn’t it leave out a lot of important material?
Gohan was weaker at the Budokai too, but he was drawn like a SSJ2 there is the thing. It could be that Toriyama just decided to portray it differently later on but at this point we can never say.
Certain things are definitely easier to reconcile if Dabura and Gohan surpass the SSJ powers of the...
I’d have to reread it, but the GA arc is still pretty much a 10/10 to me. There are some issues but they’re so minute that they don’t really factor in for me. Probably the biggest “flaw” is that Muira’s art doesn’t peak until after this arc, but it’s still among the best at this point too.
The problem is that there are narrative issues no matter which side you pick. It may be that the narrative supports the SSJ2 side a bit more, but it’s still not wholly consistent either way.
The art on the other hand is completely unambiguous. I think going with SSJ2 Gohan is a fun thought...
Yes, humans have been known to exhibit multiple times their usual strength in life-or-death situations, often injuring their muscles, bones, and/or blood vessels in the process. It's called hysterical strength. Most examples are anecdotal, but there are enough that I believe it to be a real thing.
Well yeah, it's not a rage burst, and yeah, being emotional lets him bring it out. I dunno what you mean by "real" I guess, other than your idea that it's the power that his Oozaru boost is based on. Maybe, maybe not, I dunno.
Gohan's power at this point in the story is extremely volatile and he has basically no control over it whatsoever since he hasn't been trained yet. If 710 is his "real" power, then he'd be walking around at 710 and Goku would know that his toddler is twice as strong as him.
10-20 works just fine, but you have leeway with the second scenario because the Z team is not as grouped together anymore. Krillin is stuck at the same level he was at versus 1st form Freeza, Gohan is significantly weaker than Piccolo. If Vegeta is 3-3.5x stronger than Piccolo then that’s...
