lol. if our former president dilma were in charge of this more ppl would be likely labeling her a commie. I think it's a pretty fair initiative and measure tho. we should struggle as much as possible to avoid ppl from going out and providing the necessary resources to diminish human traffic in public spaces. 600 reais is still fairly low tho. it amounts to more or less 3000 dollars in the US but here 600 reais you can afford less than someone with 3000 dollars (per month ofc) in the US could, so just converting the money is tricky. but it doesn't seem to matter too much now... bars, shoppings (except the cinema), stores and the like are already allowed to be open, the crowding is very high again and more and more ppl are less worried and more complacent about the situation in general. I can't really blame them since 6 months at home is rough but it's a worrying scenario. still, it seems that, thankfully enough, the contamination wave hasn't spiked as much as ppl would normally predict in a scenario of full-on lift of the quarantine. some ppl are saying that a second wave of infections is bound to happen in europa... is that true?
