What's your avi from?
You said you're not as much into horror as other movie genres. Do you like thrillers?
In fiction, do you prefer settings that are futuristic/sci-fi, contemporary or historical?

I do like thrillers. Thrillers are a different beast from horror to me personally; although I can appreciate some good horror films, they generally make me uncomfortable in a way thrillers don't. For the most part, horror is really the only genre I think I have a bias against.
I don't know if I have a preference in terms of setting. I do think that having a futuristic or historical setting inherently prompts the director(s) and script (etc) to explore that setting in more detail, whereas a more contemporary setting might not receive as much attention. Generally this is because if a movie (or whatever else) takes place in a contemporary setting then the setting might not be deemed as important to the plot/characters of the movie, but a detail-oriented work might realize that characters living and events taking place in contemporary Tokyo will differ from those in contemporary London. So I wouldn't say I have a preference, but a lot of the more memorable settings to me happen to be either futuristic or historical, and going into new fictional works I think it's fair to expect more from a setting if it's futuristic or historical. Between futuristic and historical, I have probably seen more futuristic stuff but I'm not sure if that comes from a preference.

Bruce Lee is cool, but I don't particularly follow martial arts.
