Who is your favorite comic/manga artist? Art only, not counting story.
Yeah, I heard Eminem had an OD in 2006, I think so he had to re-learn everything. That's why he and his rapping might be different now.Kyo said:Probably Nas. Illmatic is one of my favorite rap albums ever and one of the few that I think have no "dud songs," if that makes sense. Then again, it was relatively short, but at least I never come across a song that I'd rather skip. Nas really has a way with words and imagery. Eminem is pretty good too, though, clever lyricist and he can go with a lot of styles, and his flow used to be flawless. Eminem's fallen off lately though. I haven't listened to much of MMLP2, but although he seems to be picking up the pace lyrically by a bit again from what I can make out based on his EP with Royce, his flow just ain't the same. Plus he kinda sounds the same in all of his songs. That said, I haven't seriously listened to a Nas album since "Hip Hop is Dead" and I heard that in one of his recent tours he was apparently going around performing tracks off of Illmatic, so maybe he's fallen off a lot too.
ha I haven't seen anyone online div for a long time....not since I was on F before I think....unless I saw it on MAL. That reminds me of anime-planet....lol not been on there for ages.Kyo said:I have no opinion, but swiggity swog is coolSkillz_Zippy said:What is your opinion on swagyou would never even know itAbel said:What if I stumbled upon you in a store or something?
Jakjak shows up on DBZF periodically, probably why he didn't cross my mind right then. But it has been a few months since last time, come to think of it. So yeah. Him too. Wonder what he's up to. He did go on COH's forum though and would just sign in and stare at the board creepily never saying anything.shchavkyossj2 said:<div class='spoiler_toggle'>(...)</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">Thanks buddy and bday was 15th. Altho apart from a few in the UK pretty much everyone said happy bday to me on the 14th either cuz theyre a few hours ahead of me or cuz they were travelling on the 15th.
Surprised you said Slayerslice. Probs even more surprised you didn't mention jakjak, unless you secretely still talk to him >:¤{( angry sad face (guess angry faces ae always sad unless u just tryna hide ur anger or try not to cry or sumin) with moustache, altho I don't have a moustache much.
Yeh I think you should assume that college is going to be really hard and get into a habit of recising/studying STRAIGHT FUCKING AWAY so then if it you're on track and otherwise you'll be ahead and will be happy/at ease with the reduced work if u were doing more than needed.
Thats cool ur learnin to drive somewhat. I'll probs get to it myself soon. I just wanna make sure I can do it in 1 go rather than stopping partway through like I did a few years ago.
Fk got my aunt and mum's mum speaking diagonally across me distracting me with annoying sounding words I cant understand. Fak.
Now aunt givin me a lecture on bein early to work or sum shit and then literally sayin and yes im giving u a lecture and when I asked why shes like "just because I like it". Fuck off annoying having ppl just wanting to tell u shit when they arent even about doing much else for you. Gotta earn the right to tell someone off or to tell someone what to do. Fk.
Ye anyway. How far is college gonna be? Have u chosen most of ur courses yet? Do u know anyone else who is going to go there, is going there now or has attended there before?
Small talk can be weird. I think I'm bettrr with it now but a lot of the time I just naturally dont say much and then come across as quiet or maybe to the occasional person rude. Sometimes it could be weird to say too much or whatever and also in different cultures or to different people different stuff is appropriate. You should build it up slowly I guess so you're fairly used to it after some time. For bigger convos with strangers cant say I have much advice cuz I aint too into it. Swear in the last week 2 of my jokes went completely over everyone's head lol. 1 was my boss dude asked if he looked like autotrader (cuz someone had apparently been askin him about selling or buying cars or sumin) and he had already talked bout himself being too big/fat (hes not super fat probs....dunno cuz he wears loose clothes....plain white shalwar kameez) so I said "it's a big site" and defo stressed "big" a bit but him and the other guy who's only 23 didn't get it at all lol. Then on my bday sum1 sent me an audio clip on whatsapp in a chat group of them saying "happy birthday [shortened version of my name ending with "y"/ee sound] from Tom Jones" and when later I said nice Carlton impression nobody got it.....nobody watches Fresh Prince? Dafuk man. Maybe I need jokes with less links/connections.
How do u mostly communicate with friends and family? As in via which methods/avenues/apparatus (not used that since high school lol)? Phone call, text messaging, social media, mail, email, telegram, in person etc
When you were younger a kid what did u wanna be when u were older occupation-wise?
Do u speak any language with proficiency? Ur English is gd but dunno if it holds up to Yoshi's standards, ya know....
Are u in the Capsule Corp Skype chat?
Am I imagining that I'm gettin some major cold shoulder on F from people I was closest with? Or is it really there? How long do u think it'll take to pass? If it can.
holy mackeralonigiri tgis takes too long on a phone. I'm always having yo copy a nd paste in case I loose the page or just cuz it scrolls to da wrong place or I'm editing somethinh like a typo or want to add something in a specific place and I can't easily scroll back down thru ma message.
Whats that 21-9=11 meme or whatever?</div>
Yeah I'll go hardcore for uni at the start at least. I know this computer science major who told me that he basically no-life'd his first semester or year. Sounds troublesome.
Hmm I've been trying to tune out lectures lately but man it can be hard to do sometimes. I notice these days I tend to start an argument more and then win it, but then authority comes into play, before which I am powerless. Alas.
College is like a 20 min drive from home. 40-45 min by bus. I've chosen my courses for the first semester ye, got my textbooks and everything as well. I know a number of people who attended before/are attending, some people who live nearby/are family friends and some people from work. I also have a few friends who are going to go with me. Was kind of inevitable since some people were bound to stay back home for college I suppose. So I won't necessarily have to start totally anew there, although making connections is probably something I should get on doing there.
Lol I wouldn't tell jokes to strangers though, which is what I was thinking of at the time. Maybe an acquaintance yeah. For me though I think the worst part is just starting a conversation. I never want to, but there are some situations in which it'd be better/less awkward if some conversation was happening, or there could be some situation where I have to interact w/ someone new for w/e reason, and I just hope that the other person goes first eventually because I just wouldn't know what to say. "Nice weather...wanna go fishing?"
Ofc people watch fresh prince. But everyone who did is kill. Make a Big Bang Theory joke (so basically act like a nerd). Then they'll get it and throw eggs at you for making a Big Bang Theory joke. Or being a nerd.
Hmm, distant relatives is generally by phone and occasionally Skype. Friends is by phone/texting and Skype. Whichever happens to be most convenient at the time (or if it's something more important then generally it'll go to phone not Skype). We do meet up in person sometimes, although for me hanging out is still inconvenient as I don't drive so I'd have to get picked up/have parents drive (which I would rather avoid) lol. Email has been relegated to "use this to sign up for stuff" and school updates. Maybe some other stuff that I don't remember right off the bat. I had a telegraph once but I broke it. Jk I never had a telegraph did u believe me
When I was a little kid I wanted to be an astronaut. Then my parents took me to this space shuttle takeoff simulation thing and I decided that it was too scary to become an astronaut and I gave up my dreams. I am not a man. After that I was just always unclear up until late high school.
lol @engrish/ioshee. I can kinda speak Bengali, or rather I was proficient with it but for some inexplicable/forgotten reason I switched to English at home when I was a kid, so eventually I just spoke English everywhere, so a lot of the Bengali has worn off. I can easily understand/follow convos but I have trouble speaking it. Wbu?
No I am not in CC Skype chat.
I'm not noticing any cold shoulder. What makes you think that?
It is good that you didn't lose your post.
Uh idk I didn't really pay attention when it became a thing (was onry a th1ng for li3k a week anyway), just something stupid where people would go "What's 9+10...21! lololololololololo"
Occasionally. I rarely even view the threads now though. So these days it's just on a whim occasionally.Alex D. Boss said:Do you still debate about dbz?
Worst experience of pain idk, maybe one of my various stomach pains over the years. I tend to get like at least one case of bad stomach pains every year. Sucks. Never really broken a bone or anything except a finger so nothing really.Gin said:Worst experience of pain you had?
Favorite music genre?
Worst anime you have seen?
This or F?
Hmmm I don't focus on any one genre but if I had to pick right now, rap I guess. Not a hardcore fan of anything by any means however.
Chaos;Head is the worst, probably. Couldn't stomach more than 5 eps, and I have a tendency of doing just that for humor's sake.
Hmm, this. The laxer rules are better imo, it's (generally) more active, plus most of the people I like are here anyway, plus there's a lot of dumb stuff on F (not necessarily the forum's fault) that's lacking here. Also I wasn't the biggest fan of F staff once upon a time, although I guess these days I have little reason to complain there.divshchavkyossj2 said:Whem will uou answee?
Yeah. Trying to read stuff before the corresponding lectures. Been slogging through first chap of Circuits book, that one's a bit tedious since I just don't like the way it's written. summin's off. Like idk, it just doesn't do a good job of conveying the info. Plus it's long. First chapter is pretty long. Pain in the butt to read. Much prefer the prof's lectures but he moves so slowly that I'm kind of forced to rely on my textbook to get my homework done on time.shchavkyossj2 said:Been reading your textbooks a lot yet?
Front row when I can. If I'm late for some reason, then I'll go as close to the front as I can. Also if it's a big lecture hall then I take care to try and sit in the middle of whatever row I'm in if possible.shchavkyossj2 said:Where do you normally sit during lectures and discussions? Towards the back or front or what?
Nah, thankfully none of my classes are too heavy on writing, not even the Shakespeare one. In the Shakespeare class I do have to write two essays for the semester, haven't gotten to em yet.shchavkyossj2 said:Written any essays yet? If so what?
lol nah not yet. I do have this one professor for Computing so is legendary for not tolerating stupid questions though. He's not too big a dick or anything but yeah. I'm afraid that when I end up needing to ask him a question, he might go off at me for asking something dumb lol. But yeah, so far nothing.shchavkyossj2 said:Been scolded by a lecturer or grad student?
Errm, well it's generally unhealthy stuff to say the least lol. Used to always pack a lunch in HS and stuff, now I've only done that like once. The uni is downtown so there're places to go, there's a street right off campus that's lined with food shops. The uni itself is full of random fast food places here and there. Then there's the cafeteria-style place where you can get a bunch of random stuff, probably the best place to go if you want something healthy.shchavkyossj2 said:What do you do for lunch/midday meals/nutrition on weekdays?
There are club fairs, although there are always at least a few clubs advertising on campus in high-traffic areas all the time. Club fairs are basically the same thing, except announced in advanced and with way more clubs/organizations in one spot.shchavkyossj2 said:Joined or attended any clubs other than that 1 you mentioned (the 1 you see as just a way to make friends)?
Was there just sorta clubs fair? Or one coming up?

99 red balloons? Tell me about that song.
I walk, yeah. There's a bus system but I don't really use it. I don't really have a reason. There's no need for it and walking is good, even if it's a bit hot down here. Plus I like going wherever I want whenever I want, for bus I gotta wait a few mins for it to show up, usually. That's not cool, man. Do you understand my plight?shchavkyossj2 said:How do you get around the campus when you're there? Just walk? Is there another way like a bus?
We just finished learning about bits, data types, and operations. Binary numbers and all that. How a particular data type (2's complement) works. After this we'll learn about logic structures, starting from the transistor. The idea is that we'll work our way up from machine language to assembly language and so on.shchavkyossj2 said:What does your computing curriculum roughly consist of?
I'd go back to sleep and try to wake up again, as this scenario is clearly a dream.withheldforprivacy said:What would you do if you woke up one night and you were surrounded by half naked hotties pleading you to
