Never heard of it until now. Just googled it and it looks silly. Has poor reviews all around as well. Why do you ask?

u say u fuck wit old-school hip-hop even less, does that mean chronic-era, too??? bcoz hip-hop has a long history, l0l

i can't stand most of today's music, tbh

most sux

but that 90's or early 2000's (to even mid-2000's) music just has that feel to it, if u get what i mean. u listen to it & it's rly nostalgic(& has that era's feel, like u remember that time when u listen to some of the music from back then, like almost transported to that time).

did u see kurupt's rant on djvlad's channel, l0l???

funny as fak

if u haven't seen it, here it is:

<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Spoiler: click to toggle</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">https://www.youtube.com/v/HU1htlaZS_Q</div>

wat do u think of "how we do"??? i think that might have been dre's last rly classic music

chronic or 2001 (as albums)??? i think i'd say chronic. that's the original & jst can't be beat.

do u listen to kendrick lamar (i don't)???

Eh old school is just anything that'd be considered old these days by most kids, I guess. So '90s era and before. I guess even early '00s can be considered old school now, though I'm not sure if I'd go that far, personally.

I think it's more a combination of that nostalgic feel, as well as the fact that time naturally filters out the garbage for us. People always talk about the good ol' days when the likes of Tupac and Biggie ran the game, even though people like Vanilla Ice were also big during that time. But now the new edgy 10 year old kids who are getting into their hip hop groove know Tupac's name without a clue of who Vanilla Ice ever was.

Never seen that rant, will watch it sometime today. Seems..interesting lol.

Do you mean the one with Game and 50? I was confused for a sec. I had to relisten to it, pretty sick beat. It's got a little bit of an old school feel to it (well, it came out in '04 or '05 or something and I guess beats like this were more common back then).

I don't even remember most of the tracks off 2001 tbh. I had to check the tracklisting just to remember some. I think The Chronic was better. 2001 did some new things production-wise if I recall, but it felt more trite and repetitive overall - probably a product of there being like over 20 songs on it. Well, both felt a little repetitive, what with the main theme of both more or less about being a gangsta and shit, but eh, Chronic was better. There are still some memorable tracks from 2001 that I remember well, like "The Next Episode," "Forgot About Dre," etc. Although I remember hating "The Next Episode" when I first heard it since it was rather lyrically simplistic and I had just come off listening to shit like The Marshall Mathers LP, lol.

Yeah I fux with Kendrick. Haven't listened to everything he's got, but yeah. I don't know if you mean that you've never heard anything from him, or if you just don't fuck with him, but here some tracks of his that I'd recommend:

<div class='spoiler_toggle'>Spoiler: click to toggle</div><div class="spoiler" style="display:none;">https://www.youtube.com/v/Psx6MYIfZs4

https://www.youtube.com/v/1WQV_cULobA</div>

But if anything I'd suggest listening to all of good kid, m.A.A.d city in order. It's a concept album, so it's best listened to that way. The second song I linked follows the first in the album's tracklisting, but yeah, listen to it.

I swear Vanilla-Ice came out in like late 80's or early 90's, where-as when 2Pac & Biggie became big it was already like mid - late 90's.

But yeah maybe it's also as time goes by we more fondly remember the good times of then, than the bad. Also the bad won't seem that bad anymore, if that makes any sense, like if I got kicked-out of school like 10 years ago (which I didn't, just an example), back then that would have been soul-crushing now it'd be like whatever I can take it. There's worse kind-of feeling.

Yeah, it's funny as fak. Especially when he says, "Sorry about that. I had to get that out.", like he didn't just go on a crazy rant like seconds ago. Almost like a SpongeBob moment, l0l.

Yeah, I mean the one featuring the Game & 50 Cent from the documentary.

Still D.R.E was also good from 2001. That was written by Jay-Z, l0l but I think the instrumental (the piano & all) was more memorable of that song. Even-though the lyrics were good, too.

Next-Episode is good. I don't know how you could hate it, l0l. It's a fun song, even-though it might have sounded more annoying at the time.

Also "What's The Difference" was good.

OK, I'll see when I can the songs with Kendrick Lamar (I could now. I might actually). There was like just a few days ago a song on TV, when Ice-Cube was promoting "Straight Outta Compton", something like "Ice-Cube's Hip-Hop Kisstory" or something l0l. The song was King Kunta. There was also a lot of classic songs, like California Love.

What do you think of Kurupt? I guess you heard him on the Chronic on Stranded on Death-Row. I think he might be a bit underrated to be honest.

I feel closer to u than ever. Lost post buddies. And omg shc repped me fast just for being online. Wow. "Wow" reminds me of Jordan-sama, damn it. Seems like he may have gone away for a long time/got bored of the forum just after I returned. Blah. Not said "blah" for that purpose for a long time.

Thought I'd just lost the above part of my post due to going on Skype (well more due to pressing the home button or whatever it's called on my phone, thus no longer running the internet app in the "foreground" I guess you could say) but alas luckily I had copied it just in case.

Sooo yeh I've taken this message as my home assignment cuz I dont like rushing.

Decided that in the vain of Softy I'm gonna test out the voice recognising thing (speech to text) on my phone by reading what I've typed. Here goes:

I feel great to see you then ever facebook is not a c recipe fastest the game online wow wow romance jordan brianna said last supper tonight what is massive a puppy well mortgage preston road running 10 snap info i guess you could say yeah copy syria case celiac taken message man i'm working hi dana name is eminem to stop voice recognizer speech to text on my phone very much act

K, didn't go too well. Lol.

Tried again a bit with a posh voice and again talking slower….nop.

I remember when I called up some government department about something and it had an answering machine you had to talk to. I was pretty scared of the possibility of never bein able to progress but it could understand me quite well.

Yeh anyway
Do you prefer essays or doing multiple choice exams? I def prefer essays if I actually know about the subject. If I'm wingin it then obv multiple choice is better. I totally winged chem 2001….turned up to the first lecture and then just the exams and read the book as often as that….lol dont do that.

Swear that's the opposite of me for the class seating. I tried to not sit near the front cuz the teacher might ask me stuff, felt kinda awkward having so many ppl behind me and the back was just closer to the entrances I typically used. It's good you sit near the front. Why do you try to sit in the middle of the rows though?

Instutute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers? Is that a national organisation? Sounds like a redundant pair. Is there a difference between Electrical and Electronic? Is electrical more the physical foundation side (cables, power supplies n stuff) and electronic more within the contact point equipment? Dunno.

Do u like KRS-One?

Do u listen to Bengali music EVER?

What is machine language and what's assembly language? Is machine language like the constraints for assembly language? Tell meh. Best way to learn is ta teach.

Typed this on an app which is formattin it weird. Wonder how itll transfer.

Is your education taking place at a college or university? (I realize colleges are wayyy more credible than they are in canada. Up here, college is seen as a bad thing)

Are you meeting a lot of people despite living off campus?

Are you enjoying yourself?
