The same RoF which had Toriyama writing that Freeza achieving a battle power of 1,300 would be impressive... or then in the movie had Piccolo fighting a Zarbon tier opponent evenly. It’s still canon.

I don't necessarily blame him, he's always been forgetful. His editor is the one who should be to blame. If first time readers can't make out what's going on, editors should step in to make the author be more clear. He has memory issues due to overwork at that time. Being a mangaka ain't no easy job. We should discuss more about the issues of mangakas
That makes no sense thoughI think Vegeta's statement on the plane on the way to the TB was Toriyama's way of showing how Vegeta thinks he is the strongest Saiyan in equal forms. It's possible the rest weren't included in this statement.
I know. But in the context, they were talking about not going Super Saiyans, so Vegeta is indeed on top of the Saiyans even in base. This seems to be the meaning of this statement. That makes no sense though

Vegeta is just talking about his fellow Saiyans, but ignoring 18 and Piccolo shows they’re below his radar.
No.Do you guys think Gohan values winning over his secret identity?
This was my read on it, he doesn't want to expose himself as superhuman.Yes, because he holds the Golden Warrior identity even more sacred than the Saiyaman one. That's the identity that links him back to the boy who beat Cell and completely blows up the spot that they are all aliens living on this planet and all have super powers completely ruining their own privacy.
No, Gohan wants to beat Kibito by accident like Shen did to Yajirobe. Where he doesn't have to exert himself in a way that reveals that he's using superhuman abilities.
Super sucks. I don't care.
I don't see much merit in using Super to argue about stuff from the original manga when Toriyama clearly doesn't remember or care for consistency anyway.
Because Super was written decades after the fact and shouldn't even be relevant when discussing the original manga.I don’t see how canon material wouldn’t be relevant? Are you arguing that Super isn’t canon? Or what?
Why does time factor in? If George RR Martin finishes his next book decades later then his first one, is it somehow not relevant? How does this make sense to you?Because Super was written decades after the fact and shouldn't even be relevant when discussing the original manga.
