1. Still, i remember Krillin having a casual expression, whereas he was freaked out when Roshi forced him to increase his effort.
The context indicates Giran is a foe Krillin could beat with his initial power, even if it would be a tenacious victory.

I think Lord Mutaito deserves some respect here, he is the man who took down PD and he is the strongest human of all time before Goku imo.

The 22nd Roshi<Young Roshi<Mutaito<Post 22nd Goku is a good guide about how much Goku's power increased after 22nd.

1) The point is superseded by the logic that Giran's performance shows us he had to be that powerful. Same thing with Namu, Krillen didn't wet himself at Namu's power, but Namu is way stronger than Krillen by proxy.

2) Exactly, "you think". I clearly think differently, you have to learn not to waste your time debating against things that come down to personal preference. I take Piccolo's "Your about as strong as a human can go." to mean that Goku was indeed, not at the human limit yet.

He still was capable of hitting Goku hard enough to make him gawk, off guard or not, he hit Goku pretty damn hard. What makes Giran so incredibly durable? He's big, sure, but he takes a beating in similar fashion to anyone else at his level of power just like everyone else does.
