Can Boo saga SSJ Goku defeat Full Power Perfect Cell?

So we know that Cell Games SSJ Gokunuadn't even the power to deal with a suppressed Perfect Cell and this latter was considerably holding back his power and speed so he could have an e tertaining match against Goku.

But what about Boo saga SSJ Goku? We know he has gotten considerably stronger and has also surpassed Kid Gohan. So, how would he fare against a full power Perfect Cell? He should be able to deal with the suppressed Perfect Cell who fought him without problems though.

I have Buu SSJ Goku only a little stronger than SSJ Kid Gohan, who was a small fry to FP PC. So, Goku loses.

If it's a 1.2x boost, Vegeta wouldn't have spent a year perfecting it.

It has to be a large boost and it has to be ki consuming. Also, there's a limit to that path. The MSSJ path yields much larger rewards. The Grade route only brought them decent results in comparison.

The further they went the MSSJ route, the more they closed the door to Grade 2.

Super Saiyan Goku (Buu Saga) should be much stronger than Super Saiyan Kid Gohan withheld.

Vic, show me where it's implied that Super Saiyan Vegeta could have wrecked Cell? That's ridiculous man. He's not suppressed.

Cell isn't scared of Trunks Super Saiyan power, he's scared of Super Trunks, who transforms immediately when given the chance. You are taking anime filler too far.

Even if you go with that thinking, that doesn't explain why Trunks only turns Super Saiyan to block Cell from going any further. That means Trunks didn't feel a need to go up a level at that point to stop Cell. Cell no longer has his aura, so one can just assume he got knocked out of full-power.

Trunks turning Grade 2 was a Kaio-Ken Goku/Nappa situation where he needed that extra speed to catch up to him before he got too far.

Trunks didn't have the time to go Grade 2. Plus Super Saiyan Trunks can do decently against Semi Cell here, Cell is damaged. As soon as Cell turns, he boosts up to Grade 2.

FP Semi Cell wants no part of SSJ Future Trunks. I think Vegeta was supppressed in his SSJ form and a lot of his power up in front of Semi Cell can just be in SSJ. There's nothing Wrong with this picture IMO

I don't think so. I haven't done numbers in a VERY long time, but I do remember I had Goku during the Buu Saga twice as strong as he was during the Cell Games which still wouldn't have been enough to beat Cell at his max. The gap I had between FP Cell and SSJ Buu Goku was the same as Cell Games Goku/Gohan. So in a fight Cell should take it.

You misread what I said. I know that there isn't much difference between Super Saiyan 2 Goku and Super Saiyan 2 Kid Gohan. I was talking about their Super Saiyan forms. I think Super Saiyan Goku (Buu Saga) easily whoops Super Saiyan Kid Gohan. But I think Super Saiyan 2 Goku has to really battle to beat Super Saiyan 2 Kid Gohan...

I just meant that unless you have massive multiplier differences between the two then SSJ goku in the buu saga can't be much different from SSJ gohan in the cell saga given the gap between their SSJ2 powers. Certainly not enough to put him stronger than cell.

I dunno. I feel like Semi Cell's power up should be > 1.4x based on how it was acknowledged by Vegeta, but that would kind of force Grade 2 to become a 2.5x boost.
