There's a reason why its called ''complete'' SSjinB and that's because a regular SSjinB is still incomplete. A CSSjinB is basically a full power of SSjinB. SSjinB is just 20% of CSSjinB IMO.

Definitely a power boost imo, but probably no bigger than 2-3x

I'm not sure. If I think of it like Full Power Super Saiyan and regular Super Saiyan, it'd be more of a power-up, because mastering Super Saiyan doesn't grant access to power that was just inaccessible prior, so yeah.

It's certainly a power boost, Goku goes from getting pummeled in Blue to fighting on par with Merged Zamas as a CSSB. 2-5x would probably work pretty easily.

I mean there is some evidence for it being just FP SSB. Vegeta trained in order to switch between God and Blue to conserve stamina for Blue, and saying that the full power of SSB only manifests for a short while and CSSB allows the user to fight at that power continuously.

Power boost and full power. It's the true complete power of Blue, they just could never reach it with the overflowing ki. There's a pretty significant gap between Blue and Complete Blue. There seems to be three types of Blue strengths. They start at full power, but that doesn't last very long. So, by using Super Saiyan Red they can achieve that in an instant, but not quite Complete Blue. The second is more of a stable power, the power starts at full power but then goes down to a stable level that they can fight in. As we saw in Universe 6 Saga multiple uses make the form even weaker. Then there's Complete Blue, which seals the overflowing ki within the body reaching the full power and beyond.

Complete Blue>Full Power Blue>Stable Blue

Definitely more of a power boost, considering Vegeta's use of maximising his SSB power against Black in the rematch didn't bump him to Merged Zamasu's level.

Why couldn't it though?

It's a power up as well, as it's been seen in this last episode. Besides consuming more stamina, the untrained SSJB can't output the same level of power than the completed SSJB form...

Vegeta doesn't lose any stamina from transforming, yet was no match for a toying Beerus until he pulled out CSSJB :idk

Maybe Vegeta was holding back and used CSSB when going all out? FP uncompleted SSB saps a ton of stamina.

If he held back in SSJB due to stamina, wouldn't it make more sense for him to have gone MSSJB from the get-go?

I think he was initially testing himself on how strong he is compared to Beerus, and I don't think CSSB can suppress it'self considering it's FP SSB Ki concealed inside the body which requires a lot of mental concentration.

But why would he do that whilst suppressed? Surely Vegeta knows he can't do anything substantial to Beerus like that.

Going MSSJB from the start would have saved the energy that he used when fighting Beerus as an SSJB, so if Vegeta was suppressed, I doubt energy-saving would be the reason why.
