I like the Female Whis design. Hopefully, this series will at least be as good as GT was, which was actually okay from my point-of-view.

Super is essentially two needless movie retellings, evil Goku, and multiversal tournaments. Along with really bad fanservice in the form of Future Trunks, Vegetto, Female Broly, and Super Saiyan recolors. GT at least had some original ideas, a unique transformation, and was smart enough to use the Fusion Dance instead of needlessly retconning the Potara’s qualities.

Not to say Super had no original ideas; I did enjoy characters like Zamas and the GoDs and Angels, I just don’t see how people act like Super is some masterpiece that is far superior to GT in terms of quality. Both suck but Super is way more fan-servicey. People just overrate Super because it was written by Toriyama.

All that silly fan service and horrible power scaling ended up being far more entertaining than GT could've ever hoped to be. GT literally puts me to sleep with it's dreadfully boring first arc, having base Goku fight for 90% of the episode, and literally making everyone who isn't Goku completely useless. The S17 arc is probably the biggest incoherent mess in DB outside of that Episode of Bardock garbage.

At least in Super Vegeta and other character were given screen time. GT Vegeta was a fucking joke. He did jack shit because the writers only gave a shit about Goku, He got cotrolled by Baby, gets stomped by Super 17, then he gets SS4 only to get beaten up by Omega Shenron. Oh wait he did doc one thing, he killed Nappa
