How exactly does Vegeta know how strong Great Ape Gohan is anyhow? He can't sense ki.

Why does Tao have to be stronger? He's clearly pissed and his clothes are burnt off. Piccolo took a similar posture against Goku's Super KHH and didn't look terribly different.

Well Piccolo was pretty annoyed at the KMHMH, saying it made him experience a great deal of pain, while Tao Pai Pai was pretty nonchalant at it.

Besides, Piccolo's case was kind of an inconsistent I'd say.

What about Vegeta vs Goku's Kamehameha? The ki blast situation is not concrete. Shit doesn't really make sense.

Kaioshin being afraid or cautious of Pui Pui and Yakon may be excused, but he really does seem to be afraid of Dabura, and yet his physic powers are strong enough to paralyze Gohan SSJ2. If I were Kaioshin I wouldn't be afraid at all of Dabura, containing physic powers capable of paralyzing people 2x stronger than him. Kaioshin's paralyze technique would allow him to win in a fight against someone like Dabura, it's just stop him and proceed to attack him non-stoply, or have the other three Saiyajins all attack him together. It's the same with 22nd Budokai Chaozu, who has powers enough to paralyze 22nd Budokai Goku (and therefore Tenshinhan) and yet is treated as complete garbage compared to these two. Chaozu's telekinesis could give him the win against Goku, much like Kaioshin's could give him the win against Dabura. In Super manga, it's flat out shown Kaioshin can stop Dabura.

It's like Akira Toriyama doesn't give these telekinesis powers the credit it deserves, making the characters act as if they haven't such power and remembering they have it conveniently.

Yep, he considers everything else except powa a cheap trick.

In the real world, Kienzan, Solar Flare, Getting super buff to do a amplified ki blast, psychic powers would rule the day. Kikoho too. AT just glosses over these huge advantages. Pretty silly.

Also, hand to hand always seems like a waste of time. I would think a battle of waiting for the right moment to land the ultimate attack would be the primary objective. Uses a ki blast like a blade is also much better. Just make ki swords and it returns to medieval days quickly at insane speeds.

Dragon Ball Super used some of these concepts. But yeah, Chaozu being able to paralyze 22nd Goku and being still considered hot garbage to him is fricking insane. I also don't know how Kaioshin would be useless against Dabura when he could easily paralyze him and attack him or have the others Saiyajins to do it.

Well let me chime in here. I think it's quite different to paralyze a distracted foe than one you have their full attention. Chaozu wouldn't have done much if he fought Goku. Same for Kaioshin. If Gohan was fighting him, he probably would be able to manage fine. The distracted part is what is huge here imo.

I'm not saying that, but with Gohan actively fighting back against his influence and not being caught off guard, I think it could be different. Just think of it in this way, Kaioshin is barely able to paralyze him and Gohan was completely taken by surprise. What happens if Gohan is prepared for it and doing everything he can to break free? It's a different ball game then.
