One thing that made me laugh looking back: Goku told Vegeta he should be able to handle Jheese now that he's stronger from healing, with Vegeta remarking, "So you knew?". Unless there's a book on Saiyan Physiology, the only way Goku would likely know this is if he's experienced it himself. The same Vegeta admitted he needed Goku's power to help him fight Freeza--then he told Krillin that Goku won't gain any power from healing. Da fuck?

Why was Ghurd given a spot on the Ginyu Force? Even accounting for his time stop, two people at over 10k forced him into using his psychic powers. Meanwhile, the other members could rape people at 30k with no sweat.

Let's not forget that Gohan/Krillen were using ki sensing to find Gurd, which was not the norm and that Gurd had them both dead to rights until Vegeta stepped in.

Vegeta did tell Kuririn and Gohan to keep their guard up, for what's it worth. It just seems weird that Gurd would have to use what was probably his ultimate technique against them. Recoome even mentioned that Gurd never uses his paralysis technique.

Freeza's foot soldiers are trash. I'm actually salty the filler scene where Vegeta wiped them out in Freeza's ship wasn't in the Manga. Shit was hilarious. They're trying to act hard but shaking the entire time.

I think it was Vegeta who kept him around not Freeza IMO.
