Boo's ki is a lie. I'm guessing what his power actually reads isn't what it actually is.

It kind of seems like an excuse, if you ask me. Why his Ki was never "Like a lie" on another situations? The only momment i can think is Vegeta thinking he can take on Pure Boo, though i think this is more because of it being Boo's standing Ki... And Fat Boo constantly did straight up power ups instead of just having a situation like Super Boo's.

Goku seemed to have trouble reading him when he was fighting Majin Vegeta.

True, but Goku seemed to know from the get go that this guy was incredibly dangerous. Vegeta laughed it off and called him weak, and it's clear what happened to him.

I think Goku knew right off the bat that his Chi was different. Vegeta laughed off Boo's power as a joke, but Goku quickly pointed out that it felt abnormal.

Whatever power Base Gotenks was emitting had to have been better than what Super Boo was emitting. That's the only way to make sense of the situation. I doubt Piccolo just forgot. Then again, Piccolo forgot that time moves slower outside of the rosat compared to inside where time is much faster.

I always felt like it was a long time in the Boo arc anime, just because of how many episodes it took for him to get revived.
