Freeza's beam, like Nappa's blast, had enough power to drop Piccolo outright. It nearly happened on Namek, too.

So I think I've figured out the formula: The cooler Vegeta's entrance, the more likely it is he is going to get his ass kicked.

His entrance to fight 19 and Semi Cell were the coolest, though.

He's wrong about everything. There's absolutely no reason to hype up Yakon and Pui Pui like that. Then he gets absolutely thrashed by Fat Buu. Sad!

It helps us BP Purists to say Base Saiyans > Freeza

Yeah I remembered that. As far as fights go, it wasn't bad, but the story had been dragging with many episodes straight through of people doing nothing but training. Throwing in a Gotenks fight was kind of worth it since some action was sorely needed.

In every other arc Piccolo at least tried to fight. This is the only one that 100% relegates him to the sidelines. Including Super.
