Gohan (EoZ) is still the most powerful of all the Z Warriors.

I don't think he can even lose the power if he tried. It's a legit magical power up. It's a power he could have never attained through training, why would he lose it without training?

If you look at Gohan's physical appearance during the EoZ tournament you can see his eyes are drawn with the same serious look they had when he first powered up. Doesn't seem like he changed/lost power.

Is there any reason to assume EoZ Gohan hasn't gotten weaker since the Boo arc?

If he got the power through training I'd have agreed, but since it's a potential unlock I just find it difficult to believe he can actually lose the power that was unlocked (via magic too). It's like levelling up in a video-game, you can't go back once you've gone higher.

That's not true. It's hard to tell with his glasses, but his eyes are actually round again, rather than sharp like they were against Boo..

I don't think he lost his Ultimate state, I just don't see how the power being from a potential unlock keeps it from atrophying. Ki is ki, regardless of how it's attained. I'd say he'd still be in the upper-Boo arc tier and stronger than the rest of the Z Senshi, just not as strong as he was against Boo.

Just because it's magical doesn't necessarily mean he isn't able to lose power. That's like saying Krillin shouldn't be able to fall lower than his potential unlock self on Namek no matter how old he gets. Or that Goku theoretically slacking off for the 8 years pre-Raditz following his defeat of PD wouldn't make him weaker.

It's not an ordinary power unlock. Krillen unlocked his dormant potential. Elder Kai unlocked power beyond what Gohan was capable of. If you could never reach the power in the first place, why would you have to train to keep it?

His eyebrows never stop touching his eyes or however you want to word that. They always used to pre Ultimate.

He can still let his body get soft and rusty like it did in the 7 year gap. There is 10 years between the Boo arc ending and EoZ. Plenty of time for Gohan to lose some power.

Every time someone went back in time an alternate timeline was created. Trunks and Cell were responsible for a few of them, don't remember how all 7 were created though. I'm guessing it was from Zamasu.

That's reaching, but I mean I'd rather keep Vegetto as low as possible, since I don't like the Potara giving Goku and Vegeta a 10,000x+ boost.
