I always enjoy hearing the history lessons from back then, it must have been much more fun when all the beliefs were still up for debate and not as set in stone. I joined during a pretty active time of late 2012, so I can't complain, but the community died off from there pretty fast and has never been able to regain the same amount of fun or hype. Interesting how Battle of Gods seemingly brought hundreds more people to the forums, yet a completely new series in Super isn't doing much. It's sad to see.
Yeah, it's just one of those things you can look back on fondly.
I know I give freezamite some shit, but I'd be lying if I said I never thought Goku was 300k back in the day. I thought the idea of Goku being above Vegeta was too absurd, and assumed no zenkai could ever be that effective. Luckily, I began to read the Manga more consistently and changed my mind on it. There was an old member named The Speed Phantom on MFG, also known as supersaiyan3Goku on Kanzenshuu (barely posts) that enlightened me on the matter.
Another hilarious opinion I had: I believed Daimao was >Yajirobe, and that Kami was bullshitting about Yajirobe when he said all of the Earthlings have surpassed him. I was okay with Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, and Chaozu surpassing Kami. Yajirobe? Hell naw. Dude can't even fly and does no Chi-attacks. Why the fuck would this guy be above Kami? There was like a 10 page debate on Young Daimao Vs Yajirobe because I didn't want to believe he surpassed him. I said Daimao would've just flew in the air and unleashed those demon blasts all day
Android arc Piccolo? I didn't think he had a power level over 10 million. I thought the idea of him getting ridiculously strong without assimilation was absurd. Of course when I read the Android arc, my opinion shifted.
I thought if Saiyan arc Piccolo merged with Kami, he'd probably be above Super Saiyan Goku. I thought Kami's age decreased the multiplier, so the boost would've been bigger at an earlier time.
I had some really strange thoughts and really made theories outta them. No regrets.
