Ecchi anime/manga?

Do you like it? I've never watched them and I'm not sure if I've read any either. I think ecchi, isekai and old faded looking scifi anime are the only ones I can't bring myself to watch.

They’re both heavily focused on fan service that they pretty much fall into the ecchi category.

Is it any more ecchi than Naruto or One Piece? Is there much sexual humour? I read 80 chapters of FT and the only extra fanservicey thing was Ezra's power.

Just remembered I watched Prison School, which is definitely ecchi, and found it funny...made me cringe enough to be hard to watch, but in a good way.

PS: "FT and 7 deteriorate in quality" still doesn't come close to answering the topic question.

Prison School is good, at least up to a point. There’s a sick, twisted sense of internal logic that it mostly adheres to, and the plot developments make sense in a totally absurd way (for a while).

Thing is, it’s good because it’s funny. Ergo, because it’s a comedy. Certainly the ecchi plays into that comedy, which is why it stands out, but it’s still not just ecchi, it’s also a comedy. Granted, most ecchis are also arguably comedies, but the punchline is literally just the ecchi.

I was thinking I liked it for being funny and not for the ecchi, but then I dunno if people watch ecchi for the clumsy or cringy comedy (eg guy awkwardly falling on girl's boobs, girl falling like this https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/d...est/scale-to-width-down/250?cb=20180414095019 ) or for the lewd art itself.

I think people watch ecchi mainly for the lewd stuff. The comedy might be a secondary benefit, but it's generally so samey and unfunny that it can't be the main appeal. I mean, I remember shit like DxD having some actual jokes occasionally, but still.

I just meant that those are the two main examples of ecchi manga, and since they go further downhill than Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece, they’re not recommended to watch over the Big 3 for example.
