I played like once, l0l.

Was still enough to leave a positive impression on you. New games dont have that vibe.
Yeah, but a-lot of it also comes from seeing the advertisements (IIRC), roster (at the time the biggest IIRC just like the original BT before was) and magazine review with screen-shots and all.

Doesn’t change my point. The games of today do not have such things that make you interested. I’ve never seen an ad for fighter Z. The rosters get worse year after year. The gameplay and story modes have little creativity. The games have nothing unique about them that makes you want to know more about them.

Yeah, true. Today the games are a dime a dozen. Almost all of them have been done before in some-way or another. The good different ones like Revenge of King Piccolo or Attack of the Saiyans don't get as much attention as the more generic main-stream ones sadly. The new RPG game could change that though.

Budokai-Tenkaichi 2 was hype.
I may give it a try tn. Havent tried it yet. Meng switching between all the games is so hard lel
You definitely should if not doing so already. It has easily the most expansive story mode out of any DBZ game, with Ultimate Battle Z also being a fun gauntlet mode. Story Mode also allows you to have some options with your team with some fights, so you can do things such as fighting #19 with Shoulder Master Tenshithands instead of Goku or killing SPC as Baseball God Yamcha if you wanted :giraffe

It doesn't match BT3 in terms of most of its combat or character roster, but its still great in its own right and does have a few advantages over its successor beyond story mode, such as a few combo choices that weren't carried over, items appearing in-battle such as Ki restorers (though only on duel mode with the option turned on iirc) and more memorable ost.

I'd recommend using the Goten strategy I talked about earlier. Choose Goten and Kid Trunks as your ally characters, have Goten meet both Trunks and Goku on the map and he'll get enough of a defence buff that Boo's attacks won't do much damage. Make sure he's wearing a decent defensive item as well.

The only unlockable you need worry about on that map is needing Gohan to beat Cell in order to unlock Teen Gohan, but if more concerned about beating Boo, just follow my strategy and use the cheat to eventually unlock Teen Gohan.

I tested Goten and Vegeta before and so far they're the only one who can damage Pure Boo than Goku or Gohan could ever do. Probably has something to do with the size IMO. This time I'll use Goten and Trunks.
