I remember in a past list you had Goku/Majin Vegeta 1.2x stronger than CG Gohan and you even said that's relatively small enough for Piccolo to have a harder time telling. Vegeta didn't have the same uncertainty as Piccolo, the latter comment only put a cap on it IMO (as you already said on many topics).

Also, there's nothing wrong with something like this:

Vegeta SSJ2 (pre Majin) : 35,000,000,000
Goku SSJ2 (Majin Boo) : 40,000,000,000

The problem with that, is that Vegeta (Pre Majin) is too close to Goku. Vegeta said that the gap between him and Goku hadn't changed since the Cell Games in which the gap was pretty significant. I also feel having Vegeta that close would make his Majin power up a bit meaningless.

Goku's maybe stronger by the same extent Vegeta surpassed non-Super Saiyan Dodoria and Zarbon when he arrived on Namek, imo. If Gohan were more skilled like CG Goku he could at least last a while. Hell, Cell probably had a bigger edge on Goku considering the "two steps above him" statement.

I don't think Vegeta literally meant the gap was the same as in the CG, just that there's a gap in a sense "Goku is always stronger" or something like this. What does Herms say? Cannot find it.

He says the gap hadn't changed. Although, I guess you can make the argument that he meant Goku was still stronger than him despite Vegeta performing more special training methods.

The Japanese anime has Vegeta saying the difference hasn't changed or something like this. I think it makes more sense.
