Goku vs Freeza

When the warm up ends, does Goku use Kaioken against Freeza? Considering how quickly Goku uses Kaioken against Ginyu, it's quite possible.

But then we have Freeza sharing a similar aura as well. Both for the potential Kaioken and KKx10 moments. This is a difficult and critical point here.

It's tough to say. The first time he flares his aura, he gets the white eyes that Kaioken has. Also Kaio says he was using it.

It's pretty obvious to me when Goku uses it, even without color. He only used regular Kaioken twice before bumping to x10 from what I remember.

Hmmm, back when he fights Ginyu he and Ginyu both consider this his " full power ". So I guess this is a power he can maintain easily while any higher forms of Kaioken are in bursts.

So if this be the case, it's quite possible he's using Kaioken to fight Freeza and then later KKx10 of course.

Hmmmm.... I hadn't considered this.


The only issue is Freeza also having an aura during this time as well. It's tough.

I remember him using it to get hold of Freeza's tail, and then one more instance, and that's it.

Perhaps Freeza has an aura because Goku is amplifying his power through Kaioken?

Kaioken aura when he's charging at Freeza, then Freeza kicks him out of it.

Then he's got it again when he grabs hold of Freeza's tail.

After that he doesn't really need it because he's more or less on par with Freeza, and they're still feeling each other out. Kaioken was just a means to get a quick advantage at points. Once Freeza goes 50%, then regular Kaioken is pointless.

Your interpretation is off KP. Freeza doesn't kick him out of it.

He's using is strictly as a flight aura.

Interesting... by the fulcolor manga Goku was not using Kaio-ken against Freeza ( W/o hands ). That was probably his flight aura, like p said. Damn, Goku SSJ is way stronger than I thought, since this goes for his base power too.
