So Super Saiyan Trunks was able to defeat Dabra in the future timeline, and later revealed he reached Super Saiyan 2 while sparring with Goku.

The battle with Dabra looked a bit close at first, but Trunks quickly vaporized him and Bobbidi at the same time. He's definitely above Cell.

Hmmm. That's pretty cool. Acknowledging SSJ2 makes gives the form at least some importance and respect...like, it remains a step that needs to be taken, and hasn't been forgotten in the era of god-wank.

Most just assume they're turning it off to give others a chance. Guess Freeza was worthy enough for Goku to use his powered-up Base, but Hit wasn't....

I think people just want to believe in this theory so guys like Frost and Cabba won't be so strong in Base. The theory actually makes things look even more stupid, though.

Yeah, according to Super logic Super Saiyan 1 as a form is still stamina draining, and Blue will pretty much wipe you out if you use it twice...

Surely in a world where these transformations kill your stamina, your only answer is to avoid using a non-draining base

There's base and powered up base, as far as I'm concerned. You could also call this aura vs no aura base. Anything beyond that I'm not too keen on.

So Trunks says he was given "instructions" by Kaioshin. My guess is he told him to watch out for Dabra's spit, since I can't think of anything else he'd tell him. But wait, where the fuck was Kaioshin when Trunks was fighting Dabra and Bobbidi? Don't tell me he just left after talking to Trunks?

I also find it funny that Trunks did just what three other Saiyans refused to do in the regular timeline; wipe out Dabra right away and save the world a whole lot of grief.

Hmm, so I guess SSJ2 Trunks is really equal to Goku in equal forms, maybe even stronger (Kid Trunks claims that Goku is being pushed back). Black is also apparently >~ SSJ3 Goku.
